Was just up in that area. Couldn't go see Crater Lake because of the fire, which sucked. Hiked and camped on a lake near Klamath Falls and could see the smoke from it. Good video. Wait,,, six Sprites? lol

Thanks for the update; great views unending! It's a wornout statement, but I have to say it. Any fan of Tolkein would have to say that lava field is Mordor. 700 and counting! Do you plan to complete the whole trail? If so, guess it's good that you are SOBO. You are in griz country, now. Just saying.

Great Video! let us know if you stop running into PCT hikers, i saw a bunch of JMT people in Lyell but no one said they were on the PCT (i didnt ask everyone but i did ask quite a few)... You're about to be pretty alone out there!! between the lava and the burn area, pretty barren wow. SIX sprites ?? hahaha/ so many great shots and sunsets in this video thanks for filming Crater Lake- in 92 they said the painted up VW bus i was in was "going to spark and cause a fire" // Rangers thought my friend and I looked too much like hippies to let us into the National Park very depressing
