Yes she had instant babysitters all around. That is great when you have family around. Making memories. I love now going to see a cousin that I would see every so many years. Family reunions. But now that I live closer. We can see her on Thanksgiving. My sister or when I was married I went to certain family for Thanksgiving. It was great but then on Christmas day. For a couple of years my stepmother/ sister wanted me to watch her kids open up gifts that they never appreciated us buying them. Now I did buy for another sister her kids were grateful. Now she only has one teenager left her 2 oldest are grown and moved away.
We had those stickers all in our yard at our beach cabin ( Crystal Beach Texas by Galveston) before it was blown away by a hurricane… but Evy reminded me of myself as little girl and my kids also having those ‘cockaburs’ is what our family called the stickers. ❤love watching you Joy Anna and your family!

Absolutely beautiful precious family. Gideon is loving jumping into the water, Evi’s little swimsuit is adorable and baby Gunner is too cute. You all traveled so well! Joy you are a wonderful mother, so patient and loving. I liked the “daddy to the rescue” with Evi’s foot and needing kisses for payment. So sweet!!
Your little siblings aren’t so little any more. I can remember watching when you were so young, Joy! 😊 I loved hearing you just saying their names and getting a small glimpse of them. I’m so glad you all got that time together. ❤
When my daughter was small I would buy fancy seashells. My husband would put them in his pocket while. We would walk on the beach to “shell hunt”. He would throw them out of his pocket. And it was like my child found gold on the beach. It’s a great memory that we have. She always found the “best” shells. She still has all of those shells. She’s 20 now. And one day I hope she will do it with her children. I hope I’m here to see it.

When i was her age one time, my husband and i took our kids at that time they were 15 , 7, 5 1/2 and a 2 yrs old on vacation. I too cleaned the house and did all my laundry so i wouldn't have to do it when i got back home. And my late husband said to me hope are you going to relaxe with 3 bonus young ones running around. And i told him that i don't have to do any house work for a week or do any laundry or cooking. The only thing i have to do is make sure that they have their bath and teeth brushes every night and say their prayers before bed. And that was good enough for me for one week hehehr.❤❤❤❤ you do a very awesome job with your family Joy keep up thr good work! Love from Donna in Washington. We’re in upstate NY and though we love the beach, mountains and lakes are what we prefer too! The Adirondacks are beautiful. My husband also hates the sand getting everywhere!

Absolutely love destin. If the water wasn’t so rough y’all would have truly loved it. I’m trying to get there now and go to crab island with our boat. We live in the gulf coast so we are used to sand.
I loved when Evy said, "pack pack." If you think about it, a lot of kids also say ,"basgetti." I would get so tickled when my kids were learning to talk and the way they pronounced some things I couldn't do anything but laugh. I could watch your family all day, so wholesome, kind and full of love. Destin is so beautiful and has a gorgeous beach. When I was in the military, we went to Destin quite often.

As a Michigander I prefer fresh water lakes over the ocean or a pool. The downside is our lakes can be pretty cold but they’s nothing in them that can eat you🦑🪼🦀🦈🐊

Those were sand spurs that Evie had in her foot. I use to get them all the time when I was younger. They sure hurt a lot. Poor thing! Ya'll looked like you had a great time....great memories.
I've been to Destin beach 3 times this summer and I live an hour and a half away. I sure am sad I missed the Duggar family, I would be star struck just to see ya'll, not only did i watch many of you grow up, but you were a big part of my childhood as well ♡♡
Im right there with you Austin, I just got home from the Florida Keys and I rather just hang out by the pool. I told my family, next time they can go to the beach 🏖️ and I will stay back by the pool. Enjoy safe travels ❤️

Sand spurs that’s what Evie had on bottom of foot. I’m a mountain person. Even though I was raised in SW Florida. I live in the South Carolina mountains for the last 38 years. Looks like everyone had a good time. ❤
You were at my neck of the woods. I live in Defuniak Springs. I am on Austin's side and I'm a native here and never go to the beach because of the sand.
I’m with Austin, I don’t like the sand, I don’t like the wind, I don’t like how the water smells, don’t like the smell of rotting fish, etc….and the sun is not my friend, I’ve been battling skin cancer for 47 years, so my dislike is really understandable. But, millions of people truly enjoy the beach, wish I did. My children love it, and although we live in Texas now, they manage to get back to Cali fairly frequently. Hope y’all have a wonderful time! Glad you had a fun vacation with your family at the beach! I live in Florida and Evie stepped on some sand spurs which are a common weed in Florida. Definitely not fun to step on!

Gideon and Evelyn are getting so Big and their personalities are completely out now as they're five and three years olds .looked like you had a wonderful beach vacation as a family and some of the Duggar family too. I love seeing the older Duggar children and in law's together 😊

Looks like y’all had fun, but yeah if you aren’t beach people I’m sure it gets old quickly! Im a big beach girl and I’ve been to ones in Mexico and Belize and honestly Destin is my favorite by far, the water is just so gorgeous and we go twice a year. It doesn’t have a lot of shells sometimes though, Navarre or Pensacola may be better for the kiddos to find those😊 nothing beats time with family though, it’s good to get out of your home and try new places and just be together. I have complete opposite views from you guys but I genuinely enjoy watching y’all and respect how you prioritize family ❤️
