OMG Abby's look when she smacked her hand!! Priceless! Quick cutaway, though. Did she finally say something? Gosh, but she's quiet. All work. Looks like she knows her stuff. Go, girl!!
Its great to see the kido doing the recovery. And she has a smile on her face. Crazy been watching you before she was born and how fast kids grow. My youngest (of 3) will be 18 in December and I will be an empty nester.
I have loved watching your channel for years , I think you were the channel I subscribed to , love the fact that not only is your wife so involved and passionate with all the aspects of the show but your daughter is stepping up and get her hands dirty too , Y'all keep up the good work 👍🏽
Oh one more thing Eric can you show making a new boom sling in a video please??? The sling I believe the part that is always folded up under the stinger arm and you always have to flip it out before lowering to hook up to a vehicle!!! I have a 1979 or 80 GMC K30 wrecker also but when I baught mine years ago they had taken the sling off for someone else and didn’t have one when they sold the truck to me!!! It would definitely be nice to have one again for my tow truck for some vehicles but not all!!! I definitely no that it can’t be to hard to make one I just have never seen one complete and all together so that I no exactly what piece need to move and in what direction and everything!! I am a certified welder so I don’t have any issues or worries about the welding just how everything goes together!!!! Or heck even a diagram of one with lengths and everything would even work if you now where I could get a diagram that would work also!!?? Thanks in advance for any info if possible??? Thanks once again Eric!!!
Great to see this. was the first crawl for the cure I went to and had a blast seen yall working on the tire. was just glad I didnt need ya when I lost a vavle stem in the gorge
I started watching this channel years ago when Eric pulled a Blazer out of a field. Years later, they had a child. Somehow that child is now 24 years old.
I greatly enjoy watching your recoveries the support you give to these events is excelent and so much needed.. ps Abby is becoming a pretty good recovery operator... wtg keep it up Abby
Watching Any work with you reminds me of my daughter, she was always with me until after high school, if I was in the shop, riding motorcycles, or out on some kind of retrievele mission! Be that trailering a relic home, or in one of the wreckers! Still own two of them! 79 F-350 440 Holmes, and a 73 L-800 525 Holmes, with a 25-ton deck Wich! Daughter will be 36 this Christmas and she's a Millright!
Well Eric ,,, pretty soon it seems you have someone to pass the torch to ,,, Abby’s doing grate and handling the rig and her skills are getting better ,,, god bless ,,,,
BSF Off-Road Recovery Team : Abby is a lively young woman and discovers that she is attracted to offroad towing work. Greetings from Finland to Abby there.
I see a 3rd wrecker coming to the fleet. Abby is going to be a great operator seeing her get out of that pinch point when winching that jeep out was a good move.
I have an idea. Fabbin' up something like a trucker's 5th wheel hook for Abby to use to help flip the sling over center. Always enjoy your videos, maybe someday I'll catch up with you on a trail.
Eric, I really like the fact that your entire family helps with towing. Now that Mara has blonde. I wonder what kind of rig you are going to build for Abby? I'm kinda interested in seeing what kinda vehicle she chooses.
Love that Scout! When I was a little kid, my first job was the car lot across the street from me in queen's, there was a primer gray Scout like this one with a snow plow in the lot, I would stare at it every day, I wish I would have bought it! You just don't see them anymore, wonder if this one has the Nissan diesel?
Your daughter is learning the wrecker side of the job, and she seems to be doing well with it. When does she start learning the other half of the job. The part that has a steering wheel. She will be ready for her own truck soon; I hope you are ready. It happens fast and she will be all grown up leaving you wondering where your little girl went. Enjoy every minute of it.
Hey Eric I’m thinking that you could definitely retire soon because Abbey is definitely starting to take over quite well and doing really good at it also!! I think you should definitely sit back and let her drive and do all the hooking up once in a video for sure!!! Heck she could even have Mara be a co driver or helper!!! That would definitely be an awesome video for sure!!!!
Nice job on the recoveries!! When Abby got her hand smacked with that iron on the back of the wrecker I thought I heard myself cuss!! LOL!! Not her though!! She just shook her hand and kept on going! Tough little girl and a great helper!!!
Man you have beat the s*** out of that truck since you built it this last time. I've been watching you for many years and I watched you build this last truck. I understand the logics of the diesel torque converter. But if you just add a better cooler and I think with the little bit higher stall converter it would help you in so many ways!!
@23:06... I said the F word! Dang! I like what Eric said at the end... "Well, that was pretty easy and I didn't get too dirty", lol! Hopefully Abby's hand is ok?
Hello Eric, I think if you need a cb handle or just a clever nick name...................shackle bolt!!! :-) Saw you at the hardware store in hurricane a couple years back, I asked you if you were getting shackle bolts.
One of the worst sounds in the world! A stock 4 door jeep bus dragging is belly on the rocks! 😂 I remember that nails on the chalk board sound when they first came out in 07! Great cause, my brother in law has MS , TY guys!
I don't know if you choose the small blocks for that truck because they're lighter than a big block? ... But I just think a big block would benefit you in more ways also because of the weight and tork
I would watch your videos IF you would get glasses that fit you. Or at least push your glasses UP. I'm not a hater and the content is great. Its my problem and I can't watch your videos because of it. And I don't but I'd like to. People can make fun of me it's a pet peeve .
