This watch is an amazing value….if made by any one else I’m sure it would be a $3000 dollar watch….no one else is capable of making such a quality watch at this price. Don’t think of it as thousand dollar watch its real value is much higher. Definitely a driving watch. It’s a buy for sure.

I 100% agree with you. If it was seiko, the price would have doubled, not to mention more it would get more attention to it. Citizen is definitely underrated.

Thanks for the great review. I think Citizen did an amazing job on this Tsuno variant design. I really luv the gold case, dial and red details on the hands. Unfortunately i wouldn't purchase one despite the awesome deployant strap because i'm a bracelet guy. These cases wear so much better on bracelet. I currently own the Champagne dial variant on bracelet and the Green Super Titanium Tsuno LEs. Incredible time pieces! I would have a very hard time parting with them because they are so well made, and accurate.

That's a bold watch. I fear it is a bit too big for me and the price is very bold too. That's a lot of money to pay for a gold pelican... I'm glad that Citizen did experiment with this though.

I owned the orange dial variant of this watch. I thought it was cool, but quite unwieldy on my wrist. Super interesting watch though

I wish citizen would stop crapping on the challenge timer with these 'reimagining' attempts. I have the original challenge timer and the octagon challenge timer and they are magnificent watches. These new ones cheapen it for me, especially the classic reissues which were awful. The 2011/2012 anniversary versionis the one to have if you want an eco drive version, finding one is easier said than done, they're like rocking horse shit. Good vid, thanks.

I doubt it honestly, not in the short term. There were 5000 made. It may go up in value but it will be years.

The BAND is awful. 12mm lug width? That's a LOT of watch to put on such a narrow strap. They need to STOP making these bands that are case integrated. That's WHY nobody is buying this watch. Plus the LUME SUCKS They have TOOO MUCH going on in that little dial to where you CAN'T even see where the watch hands are. My adviceto CITIZEN is this: MAKE the lugs 20MM where ANY strap would fit. Shave the watch down to 12MM in thickness ADD SILVER HANDS (LARGE LUMED) Against a BLACK dial. MAKE the HOUR indices BIGGER and lumed. Make the date window an integrated cyclops option.
