The craziest monster spotted during wartime...is man

#5, the White River Monster. I live in Arkansas, having moved here from Houston in 1984. In the early 1990s I briefly encountered, in Fayetteville AR, a rather simple young woman from Newport who claimed that as a child she had actually seen and touched a "baby" White River beast. She said it was about 9ft long, had a long tail, long neck, flippers instead of feet, and sandpaper-like skin. She said these beasts were well known to the locals, ate only river vegetation, and never intentionally harmed anyone. A single exception she cited was a local man who was swimming in the river and received a rather severe skin abrasion from one of the creatures brushing up against him in the water. The young woman's name was Holly, and I don't remember anything else except that she was a nursing student. I have often wished I could speak with her again.

I enjoy always logging onto RU-vid, and finding a video from this channel. After seeing the new video, I always go back to where I last left off, so to continue watching the old videos. You do wonderfully, Katrina. Please keep up the good work!

The Morbach Monster is a fabrication by non-natives. Nobody in Germany, let alone in the Hunsrück area, knows about this monster legend.

There are tales of crocodiles that are said to run like hyenas in Africa and the Japanese kappa have some descriptions as such.

The white river monster sounds very close to a manatee or dugong (for us aussies). The ones involving clouds could be gases causing hallucinations.

Possibly Andrewsarchus for the dingo-croc type animal? Suppose to be extinct, but you never know. It’s the only thing I know of that resembles both a crocodile and dingo, but it’s huge… 🤔

Jinn also appear as smokeless fire sounds like what happened in the aircraft

As a Belgian I'm very interested where you found the story of the beast of Mons. I'm very interested in our local lore but couldn't find any information online. The only stories I found were about the angels of Mons.

That last picture, is a fake as the Moon being made of green cheese! Someone managed to put the 'Nessie,' picture in behind the ship. It is the same picture and was declared to be fake, by the very guys who took the picture of a toy monster, saying it was meant to be a joke, spoofing the Loch Ness monster.

I saw something up close and clearly I could never explain or even say what species it belonged to. It was big and looked me directly in the eye. Which was even more disturbing. I was in my car and it was sitting on the side of the road in a ditch. It was taller than my car. I had to look up to see its face. It had short or no hair. Beefy muscular body. Dark brown or black. Short almost cropped looking ears and a pug like snout. It didn't move (other than it's eyes) or make a sound. Just locked eyes with me. I was out in a rural area stopped at a tee in the road. I didn't stick around to find out what it's intentions were. I'm a country girl. Lived on a cattle ranch. Hunted. Seen all kinds of wildlife. Like bears, mountain lions. This was not anything I'd ever seen or heard of. Its been 20 years and it still freaks me out. How can something like that exist and nobody know about it? I mean, I would not have believed it possible if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. I'm no longer a skeptic.

My buddies and I have been stalked by wolves at night. We'd circle a lake and flash our lights across the water just to see the red glowing eyes. We were never in real danger, but anytime people talk about the red eyes, I think.... I'm glad I grew up in the red eye age of cameras, lol. In the 80's and 90s we all looked like demons if the flash was on.

The crocodingo seems like a later tall tail. After wll, dingo are from Australia. Not a well know area of the world in the mid 1800s America.

There's not one , but two of theses Tennessee monsters...they do the bidding of the Bell Witch ...they attack Yankees and I have seen them along the Cumberland and the Tennessee river while camping as a boy scout...there were two other boys with me at the time...they are real...and they're called shanogs ...red eyes, webbed feet with claws, bigger than a wolf. We were all southern boys so we were spared in our tent, but another member of our troop was ripped limb from limb screaming.

When i saw the monster i think on SCP-

I took advantage of my military history access and did a little research on the 834th Airborne Division and there was absolutely no records of any actual, rumored, or unit mythology that in any form even remotely resembled the highly unusual story that you related⁉️ My efforts to contact any remaining veterans of this unit, as of today found none⁉️ The unit Was stationed on Tan Subn Nuht Airport and Bien Hoa making supply runs to most other air fields, but these were mostly C-123, C-7, and other short field capable aircraft including my Special Forces Camp at Bu Dop in the III (3) Corps Area, near the Cambodian border. It would probably be noted that strange things happened and became part of the mythology of the war, but this is one with no legs to stand on, by my estimation‼️ Also our uniforms and weaponry carried little resemblance to the very obvious WW-2 film clips associated with your video, which also showed other numerous unformed errors‼️

Crocodingo was a dire wolf

I have to say something: I'm into cryptozoology, but from other end then others. I like theory that some cryptids can be explained as creatures that just got lost in out time and space. I think they are just prehistoric creatures which somehow got in our world. You know such as sarcopterygians, 70 milions of years there arent any sign in fossil records and suddenly one pops out in Indic ocean, Darwin provides us most questions, but what his theory ignores, that interests me! For example Croco-Dingo Looks kinda like Andrewarchus creature which is extinct long time. I have bunch of those, If you want, I have it ready for another video. There are really lots of undefined beasts wjich can be prehistoric.

Large wolves that can run on their hind legs could be prehistoric beardog. Before the species split off. Also native American skin walkers and windingo describe the same creature. Aggressive mostly attacking live stock for sport and perhaps attacking people.
