And shortly after that upset over A&M, they blew a 28-3 lead to my James Madison U Dukes and lost the game. Then we got a #25 ranking (first team ever to get a Top 25 ranking their first year in FBS) and lost to Georgia Southern the next week. What an insane season this was.
@@Moose6340 You know, most of us Aggies felt that the #6 ranking was too high to start with, but with the performance against App State we knew that we were in for a very bad season.
I still love how Old Dominion was like “Yeah, we could kneel this out and be cordial, but we’re gonna make you feel every bit of this disrespect, bitch!”
ASU vs. Oregon 2019. The Ducks were almost guaranteed to go to the CFP with their only loss being to a last minute touchdown @ Auburn. Nobody expected ASU to win this game nor be so dominant throughout majority of the game. Oregon lost and obtained a 2-loss record. They then won out their schedule, slaughtering Utah in the PAC-12 Championship, and beating Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. This upset was inexcusable for the Ducks and unexpected by nearly everyone as ASU was 5-5 on a 4 game losing streak.
I know i'm 7 months late but I remember that year being a faux year for Oregon. At no point did they truly look CFP ready, struggling to an unranked Washington and unranked WSU at home in back to back weeks and unranked Cal at home as well. Maybe the hype was bigger than I remember but they were having close games against cupcake teams all season and most people where I am saw them as frauds E: Not to discredit the win for y'all tho, still loved seeing it, but I just think that's why more people don't really talk about it
6:01 I was there that day. Was a great game that I’ll remember forever. That was also the Tyler Trent game, where cancer patient and Purdue superfan Tyler Trent predicted the Purdue upset.
If I’m a Power 5 and I see Appalachian State on the schedule I’m treating like the CFP 😂 how many times they gotta upset somebody for them to be taken seriously
Long ago before Utah was what they are today in 1990, Utah at Minnesota. Game tied Minnesota lined up for a last second field goal or may be it was an extra point I can't remember, but Utah blocked it, picked it up and ran it fully down the field for the win. I can still remember watching McBride jumping up and down as guy rumbled the full field for a miraculous win.
How is the 2011 game Iowa State vs #2 Oklahoma State not on here? That game was OSU's only loss and forced them out of national championship contention.
The 1st clip was so unexpected that they changed their win/loss records the wrong way! Thats pretty crazy, it was probably programmed in that entire broadcast!!
You have definitely got the best logos of any RU-vidr! I know immediately when I see the THR Logo and hear that music! I do laugh because as a lifelong Redskins fan, I always see “HTTR” (Hail To The Redskins) when I see your logo, which then reminds me it’s yours. I’m high, Nevermind.
I think I remember the horrible ref calls in that Alabama - Texas AnM game. If I was an Alabama fan I would’ve been furious especially at the fumble the refs never saw 😂
6:46 I remember how Pitt beat Clemson in 2016 and I think in that same year Michigan lost to Iowa State on the road by the field goal that ended the game
I remember back in 2007 when Illinois went into Ohio State when OSU was #1 and beat them. Amazing time to be an Illini. With as crazy as 2007 was (same year App State beat Michigan) OSU still made it to the national championship game but then got smoked my Florida.
I don’t believe they included it but I remember when I was little those Alabama-Ole Miss games where the rebs one back to back in 2 seasons. I’ll never forget those games.
Not a single “freak miracle at Jordan Hare??” There’s been too many to count! I really expected to see “we only need one second” from the Auburn Tigers on here.
Where's Penn State vs Ohio State 2016? Ohio State would go onto the playoffs that year and were heavily favored to win, then a blocked field goal returned for a TD put Penn State ahead for the win
Wow no Utah vs bama in 2009 sugar bowl? A game that not only Was in bama’s favor but was a mountain west conference team that destroyed one of the top rated if not top rated SEC teams?
What's really upsetting is how Alabama could lose to any one of these teams and they'd still end up in the top 3... Like how last year when they lost to an unranked team and was still somehow ranked higher than Ohio State
Yo where is the fcs teams beating some of these bowl teams like ndsu taking out Kansas state and Iowa state along with Minnesota for 3 out of 4 years playing against each other show some more small school love
How did i click on this video thinking upset moments meant when people were upset and not when it was upset victories and it took me 3/half mins to realize that
