Nick Young did just that, scoring 19 points off the bench with three 3-pointers in the midst of the Clippers' 26-1 run. Paul finished with 14 points while playing a team-high 38 minutes despite a groin injury that kept him out of the regular season finale against the Knicks. Griffin had 17 and Butler 12 before leaving the game.
Young said he didn't even see the score, being on the court down the stretch for a change. He said he looked up late and saw they had a game when he started hitting his shots.

People sleep on how physical this series was. This was the closest thing to 90's-styled basketball at the time. A lot of banging and hitting. Felt like a fight could break out at any time.

One of the best games ever. I was going CRAZY and got DRUNK off Johnny Blue at the end of the game. CLIPPER NATION since 1992. I've been to over 100+ Clipper games and watch every game on TV.

Why the hell did the Clippers let go of Nick Young? After such an incredible performance they should have retained him and kept a lethal 3 pointer on their side. Jamal Crawford was an excellent replacement but they should have kept Young as well.

Its supposed to run until the final 2 minutes unless theres a deadball. In this case there was a made field goal and since it wasn't under 2 minutes nor was there a deadball, the clock was justified in running from 1:39 to 1:48. (Damn I hate being so smart).

Never give up, awesome game. All heart by the Clippers. I don't think the Grizzlies really recovered after this game even though the series went to 7 games. The rest of the way the Grizzlies were using thuggish tactics, sign of a defeated team.

Memphis was playing selfish basketball. Someone would just dribble down the court and force a bad shot. If they shared the ball, distributed more, and played as a team they would have held on for the win.

In the last 7 minutes of that quarter, I heard the fans cheer twice. Once when Chris Paul turned it over and when the fans thought Connely would make the layup. How were the Grizzlies supposed to stop the Clipper with such momentum with no support from the fans? Grzzlie fans suck.
