As an Arab I don’t use most of them! They are lebanese (or maybe Middle Eastern expressions) and there are other arab dialects out here! I didn’t even knew the meaning of some expressions he mentioned!

احكي عن انواع الايدين 😂 - إيدو بيضا : يعني صاحب فضل و خير ومعروف. - إيدو ماسكة : بخيل . - إيدو خضرا : يزرع وتُثمِر زريعته. - إيدو طايلة : بيقدر يعمل أشياء كبيرة . - إيدو واصلة : واسطته قوية . - إيدو طويلة : يؤذي من حوله . - إيدو خفيفة : حرامي أو شاطر . - إيدو مخزوقه : مبذر ، مسرف . - إيدو ع قلبه : بيخاف كتير . - إيدو والكف : عصبي ، ما في معه تفاهم . - إيدي بحلقه : صارف عليه و عازمه ألف مرة. - إيدي بحزامك : أطلب مساعدتك . - إيد من ورا وايد من قدام : مفلّس و ما معه شيء. - جاية يلولح بإيديه : راجع مش جايب أي غرض. - إيدك وما تعطيك: تهديد ، إِلي بيطلع بايدك ساويه .على حطة أيدك : مثل ما أنا لا تغيير. يلي ايده بالمي مو مثل يلي ايده بالنار : مو هكلان همي. ماسكه من ايده الي بتوجعه : ماسك عليه ممسك.😄 ايدي عراسك : احلف بدون كذب 🙃🙃 شو طالع بايدي : بحكيها اللي مغلوب على امره

Whiten face is a good thing. For example we say: شد الهمة في الدراسة ،خليك بياض وجه لأبويك. which means: work hard for your studies, whiten your parent's face. (Whiten your parent's face) means make them proud of you or/and make them happy. By the way whiteness doesn't symbolize the real colour white, instead it means the theme of brightness, happiness, etc. (This is on the Arabian gulf culture and few other Arabic cultures)

Yup we have that too in Saudi Arabia as well as using (blacken one’s face) for the opposite purpose for example “you didn’t study well this time, you blackened your parent’s face”, thinking about it now it’s kinda racist lmao

Three more 1. "Ede wel kaf" - "my hand and the slap" - I'll be slapping you/them soon if you/they keep annoying me 2. "Ede 'a albi" - "my hand on my heart" - feeling anxious about something 3. "Raso/Rasa yabes" - "his/her head is crusty" - they are stubborn

more about bayyed wejj: If you're a man about to consummate his marriage, your father will tell you bayyedlna wejjna with a wink. It sort of means "make us proud boy". 😂

In Tunisia we say "ya kabdi" to family member (for example dad to his child) This translates to my liver... I think I will never get it

"his arm is long" is the translation I would use personally, indicating he has a long reach that makes it easier to steal

There's another one about tongue😂 "I kept telling her until a hair grew on my tongue" it's disgusting when you think about it😂 but it means that even tho I advised her and kept talking to het about something, she did not listen. Im not sure if Lebanese use it but I know Syrians do

You forgot some other expressions (may be egyptian not sure) Hata' mn genaby or هطأ من جنابي Which literally means rip off from my sides😂 But it's like when you're annoyed or something like that.. And also El Nas tehot haswet malh fe 'enha or الناس تحط حصوة ملح في عينها And it literally means people should put salt in their eyes As in they should feel shameful Hilarious, right?😂

لسانه طويل lisanu taweel / لسانها طويل lisanha taweel (feminine) اقص لسانك agis lisanak (in my dialect) / a’a-is lisanak (levantine dialect) اكل اصابعي akil asabi’yi احمرت عيونه ihmarat i-yonou وجهه اصفّر wajhou isfar / wejjou isfar بيض وجه beyyed wejh / beyyed wejj لا تعطيه وجه la t’atih wejh / wejj فك رقبتك fik ra’ibtak /fik ra’ibtik (feminine) اقص ايدي os idi / agis idi (my dialect) also some expressions are pronounced differently in my dialect (kuwaiti) i mostly included how they are pronounced in the lebanese/levantine dialect aka mark’s dialect. sooo if you want me to write them down just for the input i would love to do that!
