Honestly, I do prefer the classic format. The pranks you used to do around 7 to 5 years ago were my favorite. I really enjoyed the animated subtitles and the way you were more ridiculous than insulting to the pranked people. For instance my favorite prank call of yours is the Ramadan Dishwasher Installation Rage prank.
Ownage had never missed an upload in his perennial career, up until last year, he started taking long hiatuses under false pretences. I’ve been a proponent forever, but this mans commitment is no longer there. This channel is on it’s way out…
it did happen, but he took months off under that FBI dilemma. There is no way his FBI problem took that long to pan out. He used that as an excuse. I guess Covid changed everyone, some in a worse way.
@@extremelucky1 and it's not just that he doesn't post as often, the quality is way down aswell. Like I said before, he'll probably post another video within a week or 2 to reassure us, then gone another 2 months
@@nickr3441 and he keeps posting expensive animations to try and redeem himself, but I never cared about the animations much. Regardless, we should still be grateful for all the laughs he’s given us over the years, even though he’s benefited as well.
Things I enjoyed about this format: everything especially the accents, everyone's afraid to do them in comedy now but they remain hilarious when properly executed

@@Omarrr77 I have a RU-vid Channel. It takes 1 hour to add English subtitles for a 3-4 minute video. And my previous comment said 3-4 hours which you agree with since you wrote ”HOURS”.

The old format with a very slight upgrade. I fvcking LOVE IT. Looks newer, but not so much that it detracts from the old format that we all love. And those little GIFs in between, I'm so glad it's back.

Ownage made some LEGENDARY pranks. Who remembers Gay Hotlines Series, or the one with pregnant gf and the boyfriend who realizes the babies a different colour during the emergency delivery. The new stuff is so disappointing. I don't like shitting on him.... but, come on DUDE, step it up.
It's good that I see the a semi-old-format version of the pranks! I really liked the 2015-ish era with the characters above the Ownage Pranks symbol with the subtitles under the center. I noticed the subtitles in here don't slightly fade in or out nor have too many special animations to them and they have a lot more words packed in at one moment. Subtitling is hard so massive respect to you.
The best part of the classic subtitle format is that it's less expensive to make and you can give your audience more content in a format we all love and miss

The classic format is golden! Most of the time I listen while in car. Don't need every prank to be an animation. Just pump out simple formated pranks. With subtitles.

Personal > random Ridiculous > rude Classic and animated are both great Having a backstory to a prank call goes a long way for my enjoyment of a prank. If the person deserves it, it’s 10X more delicious.
honestly, i have been watching you for over 10 years, and the cartoons are nice but the subtitle thing has NEVER been a problem. i mean most of time, i'm actually listening to these prank calls by themselves. sorta like.. how ppl listen to music
I love the classic pranks the most! Can you do a long planned out one, like scheduled from a patreon pledger to prank someone they know? I love those! Bruh, pranking the British is hilarious! XD
Best format yessssss! Also let's get some similar to some of the classics. Like Robbery in the Hood or the ex con or the Talk Talk one or the Aussie hostage one. Longer 10 min versions with the same person. Elaborate ones like the good old days!
