The Cheshire Derby between Crewe and Stockport was an occasion I did not expect.... #crewealexandra #stockport #efl Follow My Socials 👇 Instagram - / fusion_josh Twitter - / fusionjosh_ TikTok - / fusionjosh
Me and my dad went up to Crewe for the original fixture when it was postponed, ended up in a few pubs with a bunch of Stockport lads and was a great crack.
Was brought up to have a soft spot for Stockport due to family being from there, safe to say their fans are quality and I’d love to get to some games eventually
Port Vale are Crewe's most hated club, and the one game Crewe consider a Derby Game. The atmosphere on these games is worth visiting for, and much more Police numbers for that game.
my main memory going to (nearly) Crewe as a Swansea fan was way back on a Boxing Day in the 1980s when our bus broke down just outside B'ham. made it to a pub which opened up for us. Replacement bus turned up but too late to get to the game so we stayed put in the pub until 5. We tried to get to see (I think) WBA but the police wouldn't let us leave the pub so that was a shame.
Get to Exeter city there a amazing club super passionate fans and welcoming as a Reading fan I have never felt so welcome in a different stadium great club u will love it there mate
Another below par performance by County. Should really be beating teams like Crewe. Team doesn’t look right at the moment. Hopefully we can turn that round against Tranmere on Saturday 🔵⚪️
Hey Josh I was the teenager you met in the express as you were leaving. I vlogged the game as well in the other stand. Id love a shout out. It would make me smile
English tradition is sitting in silence for most of the game minus the odd "the referee's a wanker". The good thing about a drum is that it keeps the rhythm and speed of a chant at a steady level + keeps chants going when others would have stopped
What's wrong with saying we're class? Not like we're big rivals. Went to Doncaster in August and most of your stadium was either empty or sat down apart from some lads in your north stand who were bouncing the entire game (credit to them)
we ain’t mancs fella we’re stopfordians also couldn’t give two hoots why did loads of crewe fans spring over towards us? doesn’t matter if you care about us or not it’s a local derby but we’ll leave you far behind soon and they’ll be no rivalry at all
Stockport deffo manchester you have Burnham as your mayor plus your virtually in the City centre i shud know as lived in Edgeley but now live in Handforth..proper Cheshire
It's the scarf my father wore mate. It's quite a long song but most fans sing the shortened version which is "it's forever being beautiful, and the colours white and blue, I wore it proudly round my neck at Chesterfield and Crewe, my father was a county fan, like me grandfather before, and at edgeley park I love to wear, the scarf my father wore"
@@staycasual7203 Rochdale and Oldham yes, Salford, closest of all but we dont see them as rivals (yet) as no history. As for Blackpool and Fleetwood, Blackpool is 60 miles away and Fleetwood a little more. If your calling Blackpool and Stockport a Derby when they're in Lancashire but also 60 miles away how are you questioning Crewe at just over half the distance and in the same County?
