Watching the adult cuckoo attack the smaller one, was a pleasurable experience. When taking into account just how evil-spirited the baby cuckoos are, as they push eggs and chicks out of nests, it is satisfying to see them get exactly what they deserve. ⏳⚰
@@leogircha9625 Birds sometimes attack other birds. It happens for different reasons. They can do it because of rivalry, to show dominance, to protect the nest, and last but not least, they can attack to satisfy their hunger (for they eat their own kind). 🐥🐦
What about all the other flesh eating animals out there and why are you not labeling those as evil also? They are not evil, they are driven by instinct, and if both are cuckoos, it's not the chick's parent. If the adult is a cuckoo, it's not the parent of the chick, and since they don't raise their own, then the big bird is going to eat the little guy. Nesting season isba time of high mortality for ALL birds. Some of these videos of a community of birds is like musical chairs, they are all stealing chicks from one another, a total madhouse!
@@thomasmleahy6218 I did not mention flesh-eating creatures because they were not relevant to the conversation. The comments were about Cuckoo birds. You say they are driven by instinct, well, to simply feed, seek shelter, and reproduce is instinct. However, to push eggs and chicks out of the nest in order to kill newly laid and hatched offspring is sinister. And, due to that, I say they are evil. Total opposition to life. Nevertheless, you have your own opinions, so continue to think as you wish. You are right though, about nature being a total madhouse at times. It certainly can be. 🐣🐦🤯
So it's laying on its side clearly injured, lashing out as its mother (possibly blind? the cuckoo seemed to go for the eyes a few times), and it's refusing food. Do you think the host parents ended up abandoning it?
Didi it die in the end? His eyes look like they should be damaged and his beak by all the pulling. I hope it suffered! But then it attacked its mother. I also wonder if she abandoned the nest since it became so aggressive, more so than they usually are.
Saya coba melatih burung kekep supaya jinak, tidak saya kurung di sangkar burung, bebas saja, mau terbang, harapannya ya bisa balik lagi, saya hanya buatkan tempat burung bertengger, saya kasih makan jangkrik, buat burung itu ketergantungan makan sama saya, jadi ga mau pergi, bisa jinak gitu, mudah mudahan ga kabur 😂😂😂😂
Excelente vídeo, esta madre sustituta es muy inteligente, quiere sacar al parásito del nido se ve harta de estar alimentando a ese mounstruo ja ja ja que divertido cuando ella se va y el engendro sigue peleando solo, gracias gran documental.
The bird that is attacking is a female Cukoo . Probably looking to lay an egg in the Wrens nest that the baby cukoo now occupies ...It may be even her own baby she is fighting .......Cukoos are ruthless . They will even destroy the eggs of a host bird ,if the host refuses to incubate the cukoos egg ......
The cuckoo has not attacked his siblings. The chicks they harm are not their siblings. 1 cuckoo in a nest of a different species. Imagine 2 or 3 cuckoos in the same nest! That ain't gonna work.
I don't like the fact the babies push the host's babies out but, it is an instinct only. An infant or newborn is not going to know they are making mum miserable by shrieking at 2 in the morning, they just know their tummy hurts (hungry etc.)... It is sad when the "mum" comes back just to feed him but, he thinks he still being attacked.
Птица напавшая на кукушонка и есть кукушка? Необычно. Вроде кукушки нападают на гнезда приёмных родителей для их кукушонка. В случиях гибели отпрыска. Что послужило причиной нападения?
the big cuckoo wanted to drop an egg there, but there is a little cuckoo here. most likely it want survive. its wounded and confused. it wont even take food, and attacks every thing.
@@RUMAHBURCILare you suggesting that the small one perished after the attack? It looks like it was blinded, and I don't know how much the best mother can do to raise a chick without functioning eyeballs
Gile bener ya? Bukan cuma manusia yg punya insting saling menyakiti ,tp manuk saja kog ya sdh dibekali ilmu menyakiti , menghabisi, saling memakan. Hadueeeh!
The chick was pecking at the larger cuckoo thinking it was the host parent. They apparently do this to induce the host bird to get more food. It wasn't expecting to get attacked so it kept pecking thinking it would get a meal. Then it realized it was in trouble.

@@blackshama9 You seem very well informed about these birds. Are you this well taught with other species of bird as well? You could teach a lot of people about birds, I think.
