He feels lighter, because he's finally carrying his body weight on a central point, as opposed through the muscle contraction. Stretching and flexibility is utterly NECESSARY work!
Watching the chiro channels was fun at first because of the cracks and that’s cool, but when you entered my recommended I realized you’re a healer. The instant improvement is so real. It’s amazing how twisted up we can get, and how most of us never consider this as self care. It’s so cool when you hear a patient say I feel light headed or hot or tingly. When you realize the nervous system is being freed as well
What a beautiful trade of skills and services. He got his hair beautifully lined up, and in return he gave this man mobility in his shoulders with his chiropractic knowledge.
I used to get my nephew and niece to punch my back. I used to walk on my dad's back. I spend a fortune on massages, osteopaths and chiropractors and pilates classes but after a few months my right side hurts again. I need a permanent solution.
@@marilynseptember21 try something that seems weird, try just standing (after you've had the adjustments prefferably) and try feeling your body about 20 minutes per day, try to find where you have your back most relaxed, where you feel most comfortable, try stretching your arms and twist them outward from your body while keeping everything centered. This is an old chi gong excerice and will help you make an adjustment to find a better natural posture through repetitions. prolly wont help you if you already have problems though in which case you'd need an instructor.
I love my chiropractor, seriously though. My MD told me at 18 years old that I had arthritis in my knees and when the pain was bad enough to come back and he would get me pain relievers. Nothing he could do. At 28 I found chiropractic care and my knees have never been better. Every other joint loves the care too.
I am curious did you only do it once or do you go in every so often cause it I heard they kinda do it so have to come in every time you feel more pain kinda just trynna make more money I could be wrong just wondering
@@canaandanielson8863 That is completely incorrect. Generally it will take a few adjustments for the body to completely loosen up. It's the muscles that always want to retract to their old state of tightness. That's why it takes a few visits. For the muscles to finally adjust to the corrections of the joints.
I love this guy. What he does is so simple with a good understanding of how muscle groups effect other muscle groups. Connecting the dots, it’s awesome. Love u doc!
I’ve wasted so much money trying to get this kind of treatment. No chiropractor I’ve been to has shown this much care and spent this much time. I’ve never once had one actually check to see if movement/ flexibility has improved. Never once have I had a chiropractor address muscle/tendon tightness. This man is an absolute saint and in my experience an absolute rarity. This is the level of care I’ve been searching for for years.
If I had the money and had access to this gentleman, I'd pay him whatever he asks, happily, just to give my stiff muscles and joints some good attention. It would really be worth every penny, especially when you're bodybuilding in your early 40's.
Lisa Forrest Griffin my chiropractor can do, maybe not use a hammer, this kind of thing! He works on the whole body and not just on the spine like a lot of Chiropractors do! He also works on animals!! He’s much better than the vets too!!
@@valebliz Depends on who you go too, Chiropractors are everywhere here and are all different in the way they treat their customers it seems.....the best advice is to down the road to the next one if you don't like the services they provide basically. You're literally commenting under someone that practices in the U.S. don't forget. LOL
Chiropractors are a sham. They do all their “atlas” talks and then pop bones and tell u to come back to pay them more $$$ to pop more bones which you could get a friend to do for you. This barber guy just proved it.
@@Gunbardo Thats not true at all, its just the misinformation people normally have about chiropractice, I cant stress how many times someone needed to go to a massage therapist instead of a chiropractor, a lot of people think they are the same thing.
I went to the chiropractor a couple weeks ago because my neck was out and was giving me migraines. He made an adjustment that instantly cleared a mental fog that I didn’t even know I was in.
Man, I feel more relaxed just watching this video. I just randomly clicked on it and could not turn away! I have friends that work very similarly to you but watching you work with your your understanding of how all these muscles work is so acute, it's almost mesmerizing!
The only problem with this is that the relief is temporary. Your body will naturally go back to the way it’s been unless you build new habits. You have to go back multiple times until your body naturally stays the way the chiropractor put it.
@@jalepenopvp2300 you have to keep stretching and doing mobility drills as preventative maintenance. I think that's what a lot of people don't understand.
Austin King good posture, exercises, good stretching, good diet etc. It’s a lot more than just posture, and not everything can do all of that with their schedule and income, at least not easily.
Love how quickly and easily the barber moves his head when and exsctly gow he's told to do so. Years of telling others to do it and he just knows all those small adjustments to make for the doc
@@ShiNoNaiHasu he's not judging his character. He's stating that a guy with a body covered in tattoos obtained by literally being jabbed with a needle thousands of times means he can definitely handle pain.
@@Foodran Did I look thru the comments: NO Could 2 people or more have simular thoughts: PRETTY SURE Do you do this to everyone: PROBABLY NOT ....... AAAAACTUALLY YOU PROBABLY DO😒🤔😂✌🏼
I have watched this since it came out and Hightower has amazed me in so many ways in this industry as it should you , I never believed in it till I wrecked my body working so hard all my life and had someone like him on my area do the same to me and wow what a difference !! It truly works I’m now walking again and working once more 🇺🇸😎👍🏻
7:01 I have the same ringtone so I jumped when I heard it looking for my phone until I realized I was holding it in my hand, watching this video, and the ringing was in the video, I feel so dumb 😂
This is very cool looking and all, but I'd be scared to get *that* well adjusted all in one go after years, I can't imagine how the guys body reacted to day after
Probably normally, he should repeat myofascial release and stretches for a few months at least. Also probably some strengthening is needed, definitely around the scapular area
love the trigger point therapy and percussive techniques. People don't understand how important movement and this kind of corrective training is. Glad I stumbled across this
Valentino Di Bormio dude chill it’s not our fault your mother dropped you as a kid. Jeez this is exactly why you’re a virgin nobody likes to be around you
@@Whitey3755 Try to find one that knows gonstead method (smth like that). I have tried 5-6 different ones and the last one has healed my sciatica pain to 95% in 2 visits. I was suffering for more than 2 years and all the other ones were barely touching me. A good chiropractor has to really get in there, if he wants to manipulate muscles and bones to actually change something and your body can begin the healing process.
@@gallahant Thanks, I'll look for one in my area. I don't think it helped my cause when 2 of the 3 were smaller than me, and I am by no means a big guy.
Reminds me of the radiculopathy therapy a former employer and I used to perform for our patients with neck to fingertip or sciatic impingement. Great work, Doc!
I'm 24 years old and my family has a history of back issues. I've gone years just letting my aching back linger. Just standing for long starts hurting my back. I work at an Amazon warehouse and I unload trucks and after an hour or two in, my back would just feel like it was done for the day. I finally went to a chiropractor and just from one session the difference was amazing. I almost wanted to cry. I slept like a baby that night. Although I could use another treatment (I'm too poor to get one at the moment) just from the 4 sessions I recieved, I finally feel like my back is working the way it should. No more constant aches, random knee cracks, and lingering shoulder stiffness. It's amazing. I wish treatment like this was more supported. People make fun of chiropractors as if it's just a silly practice until you're me and can barely sleep because your back is aching in every position.
Ayana Sioux Art chiropractors are meant for bone and muscle issues, and like for you, they work miracles when they can do their job properly, a lot of antivax people seem to think chiropractors can solve any issue, like for example disease, which they can’t. That’s why chiropractors get such a bad rap
It helps to stretch and crack knuckles and joints regularly. A couple times ive had my neck go stiff but in the shower id just keep turning it as far as possible left and right and then once i got it all the way id crack my neck and it would be fine
I remember after my third back surgery, i couldnt move my left arm at the shoulder, elbow and wrist were fine, and despite being a nurse, and knowing a lot of medical professionals, no one could figure it out. Went to see a freaking podiatrist about some issues with my feet, and he had this other person come over, who was trying on shoes, who grabbed my arm, pulled up over my over my head (AGONY) and the next thing i know, there is this 'pop' and the pain is gone. "They probably had you laying with that arm outstretched during surgery, and something was tweaked. Come see me after your next surgery." Went to the same chiropractor for 4 years. She was amazing. Not gentle by any means, but she always got results.
When you have the knowledge to make someone feel better by manipulating their body like that, to me thats a super power. I am envious of the barber getting fixed, both my shoulders are frozen and the pain is really bad.
@@dhruvjat8150 He obviously is a Chiropractor. They are taught that when getting their chiropractic Dr. license. It was just really good to see a chiropractor spend so much time on soft tissue manipulation. Most Chiropractors just barely loosen your muscles and then crack your joints. That’s like getting your cars front end aligned and not rotating your tires. I could see in the guys eyes. They went glassy for a short min then they seemed to get brighter. Like the signal with his nerves were all waking up. That was great to watch!
@@lauram6606 it’s because they don’t want to spend too much time on soft tissue and they want a quicker result to fit in more patients I think...or they only have a set amount of time to work with and can’t spend as much time as they like.
I'm pretty sure that a couple of those tats are jail house tats. What they use is painful beyond belief. So yeah the pain he showed here said he has a very high pain tolerance.
Frozen shoulder is excruciatingly painful. My husband is covered in tattoos and has had frozen shoulder in both shoulders and says it's the worst pain he's ever felt in his life. He found countless message boards online where people were contemplating suicide because it's so bad and nomatter what you do, there is no relief from the pain until you have all of the scar tissue in the shoulder broken up or removed.
