Was Janis in a comfy relationship? Personally, I think she should boink Jack White and set up some tension with Scott. This consistent (yawn) relationship stuff has killed the careers of thousands...millions of artists. She should go on a road trip in a sh-itbox car with $20 and a sheet of blotter acid, and when she gets to Chicago she should go to the Kingston Mines and get on stage with whomever is playing, get down and record it.
myname4731 they broke up long ago. Scott is married to a fine ass Australian model and Aimee is married to musician Kevin Bivona, they have an awesome band called The Interrupters.
They made great music together. But she was making great music all on her own, too. Doing this whole gig while "in love" for all that time, it never seems to work but only for a great while. Relationships don't work in that art form. Couples don't last it out in the music biz. Anyway Scott he was a douche anyway; he was already over matched by her, in so many areas, as look at her she is absolutely gorgeous. Scott is kind of a frumpy looking dude; as when a guy has to put on make up to look his best; there then is two girls in the relationship. Speaking as myself as an actual pretty boy here; as guys should try to look less attractive so as to appease and let the girl there as to standout more. To be a man is a man type of thing to do, in music, in life. I have never understood then why a woman like her would stay with a guy who is not going to even attempt to put a ring on that. And I am speaking as a guy; why would a girl be with a guy and give herself away, in time and effort, just so the jerk off could turn and bang some groupie? Which he was banging groupies from what I hear. And it is what Scott had done his fair share of banging. Good ridden to that jerk with his mother and misogyny problems. Some guys have all the luck and don't appreciate what they have there really.
It's true tho. Scott was a dick to her. So happy for her now that she's in The Interrupters and married the guitarist from that band. She seems hella happy nowadays. And Scott married some Australian super model, guess he got what he really wanted. He lost quite a gem w Aimee tho that's for sure.
Emmy Arellano agree, Aimee is a gem, it's her vioce alone that brought me here after discovering The Interrupters, i got searching her and can't believe her album got dropped and all the knock backs.........yet she is shining through :) she is awesome x
