@@jpuc5568 Except it already has. Many people have reported their systems bricking due to vanguard, and riot has had at least one known MAJOR security breach. With their habit of not always being honest, it's not unreasonable to expect more have happened behind closed doors. Their entire source code is known to would be attackers and that's not something that can really be patched out. Any backdoors they missed in their code is a direct potential backdoor onto YOUR pc, especially with 24/7 kernel level access. You forget to turn it off on bootup even once and you just have a gaping vulnerability just sitting right there. Beyond that, at high levels where frames matter, people have already reported significant frame drops on their games when vanguard is running. (not even just league but other games, the fix was to kill vanguard) Riot's corporate development culture of breaking then fixing later also doesn't help their case. That, and the fact that they, as a company, have no experience developing their own security programs gives me doubt about the quality of their build. EVEN more, We've seen how badly riot tends to spaghetti their code. That lacking level of competence on a security code is not an acceptable standard. There's even more reasoning behind my dislike of vanguard, but this is already a wall of text.
