The start up screen music makes me feel happy

Really good looking title screen. I've only played the Super Famicom version, but I never got used to the controls. This 2 controller nipple system is very interesting. Reminds me of Smash TV for the NES. Keep'em coming, Dave! :)

I guess this is where the NX rumors get their design. This game makes it seem a little more believable. I know you say you don't have a lot of time for games, but how long did it take you to conquer this one?

Nice review. Never seen thumb-sticks like those before honestly. Most common ones I have seen are molded into plastic shells the controller would sit in so it could just rest on top of the D-Pad rather than fit around it. Just curious though, did the contacts feel clean when you were using them or were you worried that they were scratching the plastic of the D-Pad?

I would get a strange boner joke about the joysticks, but... then again, do them joysticks work on the NES controller? If they do, then I'm curious that it's not released as a control pad accessory in North America. But what damage does it make on the pads themselves?

Is it me or is his camera kinda out of focus? When he is sitting on the couch he looks a little blurry and I'm watching this in 1080p. The images and footage of the games he uses are perfect it's just his camera stuff. I was watching his thrust master video from 2014 and checked the most recent video to see if it was just an issue from that time period but it's not. The only reason I'm even talking about it though is because it hurts my eyes like not in an insulting sense in a literal sense my eyes started to hurt 5min in. I made sure it wasn't my monitor by checking out someone else's video and even cleaned my glasses to make sure it wasn't them.

Why the hell didn't I get notified by RU-vid for this? Oh well, I found it eventually, but man. The one channel that deserves the views and RU-vid is pulling a shifty not showing notifications?

Holding the controllers vertically isn't that crazy in an age where the WiiMote is a mainline part of Nintendo controller heritage, but it was probably pretty new back then.

I personally like using two NES Advantages with the AV Famicom for controlling this game.

There was a version of the NES controller that had screw holes in the center and a game came with a little stick that screwed into it. I had both and I tried the stick screwed in once and tossed it out 5 seconds later and the D-Pad had a problem with falling out.

I want to try this game on an emulator, but without the fami-nipples, I wouldn't stand a chance.

So it uses the same control scheme as Smash TV on NES to simulate the dual arcade joysticks... You know what that means? Model 2 Famicom (or Famicom cart converter to a North American NES), and use DOUBLE NES ADVANTAGES!!!!
