This is a very cool take on Bane. My favorite is still the comic version. Bane is actually very intellectual. That's one of the reasons why he's one of Batman's biggest treats. DC needs to make an origin based movie about him. If they do it right, he will be on par with the Joker. The concept of this statue is a 5, but the execution is a 4. With that said, how much u want for it? I got my coupons ready 😂
Dig this take on Bane, think they we're going for a Batman Arkham Asylum/Origins style. Harley is spot on with that take and the more "normal" bane portrait adds up as well. I'm pretty sure Ivy was a bit different but it might've switched between games.
I really love this piece. It is exactly what I expected it to be. Except for the quality control issues on the factory paint job and the hair on both Harley and Ivy could have been done better, it still doesn't disappoint. I believe the undersizeing of the girls was done on purpose exaggerate that hulkish size and look of Bane. If I collected DC characters this would have been a definite buy for me. Despite the small flaws it is a definite 4/5 piece for sure. Congratulations on getting it.
Overall, it's awesome, but I agree with the significant issues. The fact Ivy and Harley are more 5th scale or less is not cool, but it's still awesome.
Seems like an Arkham Asylum take on Harley… overall very nice, love Ivy, and agreed there could have been a few changes on HQ like hair color and gun that’s a bit smaller
The concept and design are great! Paint on Harley steered from classic or Suicide Squad. Bane’s gas mask portrait doesn’t get me either. Had my birthday the other day.
If Harley wasn't there it be a nod to Batman & Robin movie. Very nice piece Ivy looks like some of her colors are flat looking, no questions this is best looking Bane out there.
Really like this diorama with Bane, Harley and Poison Ivy. You are always saying MR X that someone will always come out with a better statue. In this case though, I don't think so MR X.🤣
Sounds pretty common to need a quick blow before sticking it in. I really like this piece even if the scaling is a bit off. It seems to stand out a bit more than some of the others. I like the gimmick of Bane needing the drugs to be jacked, which we didn't really get in the Nolan films. Being overly jacked like that reminds me of Juggernaut in the Capcom games. I also like the contrast of size and sexiness of the girls vs him. I could see a lot of Batman fans wanting this so I think the resale value would be very high.
I really like the base, but they should have gone away from the museum part. Bane looks menacing, and the paint looks really good as well. He is going to look great in your collection
I almost think that you could just take Harley off make a plug key to put in Bane's shoulder to cover the hole and call it a day. Just have him and poison ivy. I think she's too much of a miss 🤷♂️ and takes away from the other two characters a little bit
Yeah this one is right up my alley I really like the pinup style also I feel it’s more of a comic / pinup based style look at it like that and it’s a 5 out of 5. Low print run and 3n1….Mr. X your like me I point out the bads first but don’t think that’s a good habit my sister told me that..Sorry you got the bad luck to get the one with a smug on her face
I think the concept is F'N awesome and it's executed great. I've really been looking forward to seeing you review this one since you showed it in upcoming statues and it didn't disappoint. Be Excellent.
I like the concept of this piece the most. What turned me off on it is the underscaled girls and Bane seems to be really detailed but the girls aren't. Plus, Harley isn't the classic as you mentioned.
Just came across this Bane diorama on ebay but at a ridiculous price !!! Then saw your link and you quoted 1300 but they only made 80 , can you still get them for that price ? Cause I quess if they only made 80 they'd be long gone ...
It’s such a cool statue, but there’s a few things I don’t like, first is that little underbase, why on earth is that there? Just have the vines be the base, especially considering it’s so small, so I really don’t like that. Next is the modern Harley, and it’s even a weird version of her, why is she wearing a maid outfit. I just don’t like modern Harley, this would have been so much cooler with jester Harley. But Bane looks amazing, but they don’t look underscaled to me, why didn’t you put her beside a female 1/4? One of the X-Men, she’s going to be smaller than a male character.
