Thanks Izzy' I've been looking for a simple clamp for glue ups of fretboards. I modified these with only two holes(resembles car spring shakles) and they work like a dream. A million thumbs up to you!

I built a set of these out of scrap red oak and they worked very well. I used spade bits and eye-balled it, but they lined up. It was nice to have the clamps lay flat unlike the bar clamps. Simple and effective. Thanks for sharing this!

Bessy needs to watch out! Now that is innovative! Izzy your approach to doing things are great! You solve task with easy solutions. I would say that has been what the premise of your videos has been about from the beginning, I went through a period of economic depression, I made table saw from a circular saw mounted to OSB and placed over a trash can as a support/base. It severed well for several projects. A potting bench I still use everyday was built from this rig. That was in 2009. Then I found your RU-vid channel. I love this your approach to making things, I have since upgraded to a real cabinet saw and a whole bunch of wood working equipment. Izzy you have been the catalyst for refining my wood working skills.
