Boy that little engine can SCREAM! 5000KV in an airplane is crazy! I have a car with 2200 KV that hit 102 MPH on the ground so... Damn... that plane could probably hit 150 with a good runup. Nice plane man!
This is a discontinued Escape pylon racer from Jiri Bacinsky. The closest thing to that model is the Top Model Stiletto (still available) which is almost an exact copy and available from several sources. Google it...
Hey, thanks for posting this, the plane looks great!! Is there some reason why you would list the kv ONLY??? Possibly, someone watching this might want to... oh, maybe know what model it is, what motor is in it, what battery you're running, why you wouldn't include that info. in the first place.... Questions like that.
Have electric motors taken over the gas/nitro ones? Are nitro still faster or is it like RC cars where electrics are just as fast and have way more torque
I say it's real because when the plane speeds up, there are some points where the people are talking and they sound normal while the plane is going it's fastest. If it were sped up, the peoples voices would be an unusual pitch higher.
@rcbatti500 actually it only does that because he had the power turned off so the plane was going much slower and then added power right in front of them selves. They do that to save power and cause its just so dang fast. and cause it gets really hot im sure. Its very real !
no, its brush less motor measurement ,, it means 5000rpm per volt ,, if its getting 7 volts that's 35000rpm, for high kv motors you need smaller propeller , for lower kv and higher torque you need bigger propeller
It does look sped up! look at the way the guy moves, look at the flag at the end of the video! The flag tells you the wind is cranking and this guy just launched it with the wind, not into it? Also, the camera man stayed on it a little to well for a plane that fast! It's probably just a cheap camera giving some weird effects and at least the sound is right for a plane that fast. I don't know for sure if it is sped up or just a cheap camera but it does look like it was sped up.
