This is pretty much my fav video. I would have no problemo running top speed with this driver he's very competent, especially taking the best lines up through boat traffic and the dashcam shows just how good the driver is.
I haven't seen a 50' V bottom with trip 1350s this 47Fountain is as close as they come right now and it's pretty dam fast, +/- 130. What I like about the Merc twin turbocharged EFI engines is they're very muffled compared to shop motors that are very loud. Listen to this boat coming on plane, even with trips the sound is quite muffled which I personally like. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6HUje2BiqS0.html
@@kristinejackson8268 Yes that's true. His bows were up and he was running on his rear sponsons not the best trim for top speed.. They won't show the GPS, why I don't know so all we can do is guess the speed at what looks like WOT. The've got three Mercury Racing 1350s in the boat so that's 4050hp, more than enough to push it over the century mark. I've been a fan of these big Fountains for a long time and I've NEVER seen three 1350s in one. That's huge power for a 47Fountain. I'm going to guess this 47's top speed is anywhere from 125 to 140mph. What's your guess?
I believe that after three years of silence, the men who own and run this boat have put it up for sale; have sold it or have put it in their own warehouse.
No top speed number? You don't know.. because you're still alive. Looks like a perfect rough water ride with excellent throttle response. Proped for max comfortable (sane) speed I bet it has fantastic hookup and acceleration with minimal cavitation... 40-175kph must be lol fun in this boat.
I've been after them for two years to post their top speed but they just won't do it and for the life of me I don't understand why. They put 3x1350 Mercury Racing engines(4050hp) in the boat so my WAG would be anywhere from 120-135mph but it might be more idk. The thing is why so secretive about top speed??? Swedish govt. would impound the boat?? Why would they even care???
