I'd have to hear it in person but I think I prefer the Akra on my '20 which is more like a down comforter on a chilly night as opposed to a wool blanket in the rain. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the SC ?
I agree even though I'm a bit biased by owning a Tuono 1100. The V4R with the race exhaust however is very very close 2nd in terms of sound. Almost just as good sounding.
That burst of flame!!! Oh man that’s a crazy thing to see when you start a bike! It was super awesome!!!!! It was like a sonic boom with flame on the start up ❤
Unbelievable, best sounding bike in the world 🌎..I couldn't stop smiling when you were revving the bike 😊😊😊,glorious sound...and I think this is the 1st time I've seen a RSV4 with a full system being installed...
Glad yo enjoyed it. There are plenty of these bikes with the full system since the system's are interchangeable for a long list of their model years. We can't wait to get it out on the road to get some sound clips!
Superb video Mani. I've got the official akra slip-on at the moment. Next winter in going to install the titanium spark headers to go with it. Apparently they're the only headers that work with all slipons... Gabro has been testing them and they're looking good on the dyno!
Dear lord! Thats perfect. I have the akra and racemap too, i bargained and they gave for free....sound probably isnt as raspy or loud as the SC, would rather have that if i was buying!😂 and the map absolutely sucks. They just crank the fuel up at high rpm, and delete the servo, no ignition, throttle etc etc. Keen to see your experience with bren as im in dire need of some tuning!.
I have an AKRA on my RSV4 it was included in the price when I purchased the bike from the dealer. It sounds amazing but the SC is definitely a fantastic choice. To me the RSV4 is the best sounding bike out there. Great video as always 👍
65 degree sound really amazing ! like it more that Catis! I really would love Aprilia to enter WSBK! Future race team will bring a lot of parts for this bikes!
@@stephosno because it's just a slip on. I have the same on my bike. I've progressed to the next stage and installed the gabro map which is even smoother than the race map. I've got plans for two more big upgrades soon as well!
Great work manny , monster looking pearl Gem of a bike , i do know the r1m crossplane are the best sounding liter bikes out there ,take nothing away from the beast RSV4 THO ❤👍 PEACE ✌️
It is louder for sure. I still have a soft spot for shorterned Akra carbon canister with the full system. I think this SC Project is a newer design though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it making more power.
I used to have the longer sc1r on my Tuono and it was too quiet for my taste. Switched to a LeoVince LV10 and sounds amazing. The shorter sc1r you put on that rsv4 sounds awesome too, and it’s the perfect exhaust for the bike imo because of the performance boost it provides
Love Aprilia and the SC exhaust, but at the same time I am also a watch enthusiast, and collector. Could you please tell me which watch you are wearing in the video? Thanks.
Taking about forged rims in another video, Mani... I've since read that it's not a good idea to powder coat forged wheels due to the high heat involved. Sounds like painting them is the better option?
Yeah, RSV4s / Tuono V4s are the best sounding road bikes at lower RPMs! Ducati V4s aren't far off! Hard to beat an inline 4 screamer at high RPMs though!
Is it possible to buy just that carbon hanger from SC Project? Have Akrapovic and their carbon hanger today. But I want to buy the SC Project SC1-R slip-on. But not sold on their steel exhaust hangers.cThat carbon hanger looks really nice, would love to have it if possible!
@@Motomillion And to me. Best sounding bike out there. It's the main reason I went with Ape over Ducati. In all reality, at this level of the game, you aren't losing no matter what brand you go with. But yea, the sound is insane.
Yes, we have the BST carbon fiber wheels available now! www.motomillion.com/collections/aprilila-rsv4/products/bst-rapid-tek-carbon-fiber-wheel-set-for-aprilia-rsv4-tuono
@@Motomillion I think if Yamaha adds a turbocharger or supercharger to their Crossplane or at least make it high revving like Ducati's 16500RPM that R1M engine will forever be remembered as best sounding best performing and most reliable japanese bike engine ever produced. What you say brother which way that Crossplane engine should be going?
You can not always follow factory routing if you are after ultimate power. It is pretty minimal for what needs to be done. If done right, no one would know.
Aprilia builds beautiful machines but their dealer network continues to lag behind. They could expand their business so much by improving both their dealer/technician network. They could really capitalize on Yamaha eliminating the R1, as this leaves a huge void in the super bike segment...especially for those of us who love that beautiful tone. Something else that could really help grow our sport is building more tracks across the U.S. Make them accessible to newcomers so it's not as intimidating and do a better job of marketing the sport to the public. Look what's happened with F1 simply because of a Netflix documentary. WSBK and MotoGP really should be looking to do something similar. The difference being people can purchase a bike...I don't see many people driving around F1 cars lol. It does help the cart racing segment however. So many missed opportunities. Aprilia if you are listening, please bring a dealer to Tri-Cities Washington. Ensure your techs are highly trained and do a better job of having parts available on demand.
So no codes will pop up with aftermarket exhaust as long as servo eliminator is used? I’ve seen many people saying UpMap will be required as well in order for no check engine light.
I do not see the big motorcycle announcer sounds like Godzilla kawasaki h2r CBR1000rr-r MV agusta f3 800rr GSXR 1000rr I know you like exploding motorcycles
