Love that you play with all types of people and styles. Seemed like some of your teammates were more selfish or didn’t have the same vision as the yellow team - I would hate to play with such physical ballers getting injured isn’t worth it :(
@@loditxxbro it’s normal in some parts of Africa. It’s called family-football. Usually happens when you’re new on the team. Till you shine when you’re on the ball it’ll take long before you get a pass
This is the same energy for the Saturday/Sunday football that I used to play. Loud, lots of unnecessary fouls, players who think they are the star because they have a bit of skills and act out like a man-child. Boy, I don't miss that at all.
Checks all the boxes of a terrible game: - teammates who don't understand the basics - positioning, passing, keeping the ball. This is the toughest thing ever since these people don't really understand how much they don't know. - teammates who are selfish and would rather try to score past 5 people instead of passing back to you - teammates who are angry at you for not being open but not having the vision to understand the game - players who literally make every little interaction into a fight and act like children - opponents who will try to hurt you when you have the ball because they don't really know what defending should look like - countless attacks where there are no more than 2 passes - just a bunch of people randomly running after the ball and shooting - random shots from the middle of the field - random shots from the middle of the field that your goalkeeper doesn't save - players who think that hurting you means they are playing tough football and take everything personal.
Im literally so shocked at how the GK didnt save those shots. From what it looked like, those shots were being shot from literally where the line starts. Its actually crazy
I just wanted to say thank you Jay. I’ve never had real confidence in myself to play soccer, but I’m finally starting to practice on my own and use whatever is around me. Thank you for being an inspiration to me :)
Crazy how jay can still do amazing without having the ability to communicate with the African players it just shows Jay's pro level experience compared to them and positional play
@@paulsanchez2883 he said a bad word first but then he said let me take the free kick you are left footed and iam right footed so ill get more advantage in this position
happens a lot with my friends too. its just pe class football and theyre arguing like its a world cup final brah. and they dont even realize their teammates are getting brain damage from all the arguing so they play much worser. like cant we just enjoy the free time???
🤣🤣" African football is hard to adapt" just the expression I was looking for. Mr Jay please do visit the continent Cameroon 🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲 you will enjoy the game there...
I'm from the Philippines, and I get to play with a group of African players also at some open play events. I can confirm their passion for football even during for fun games is 100%. They're all so good, and take the game seriously. Some of them get into arguments with each other similar to this video, but they never argue with locals, and those I've met off the pitch are all great people. This was a fun match. I can feel all the fouls you were getting lol
I would argue that they have close to no morals playing football, they argue every decision that goes against them even if they have to lie about it, most of their plays are dirty. Even tho thats their culture and I dont support that playstyle, I can confirm they are very passionate about it.
I don't understand why you're from Philippines and you talk about Africa like is a country. There's 54 countries in Africa and you people keep saying like it's one country. It's like I put Chinese and Philippines in the same category with no cultural distinction. He should have written the country where he played instead of saying African. He did a distinction when they were Korean instead of Chinese for example. This is so unfair
I was laughing at the fact that when Jay said "Hey" at a high pitch got me 😂😂😂😂 Edit: NO WAY 1K LIKES THANK YOU! Edit: HOW ON EARTH DID I GET 1.3K LIKES WOW!!! Edit: 1.5k likes is a first for me thank u so much
as an nigerian who moved to england when i was 2 years old i can say that when we play football aggressively from the very start all the way to the finish, so happy to see you playing with our people and seeing how we play the worlds game ❤️❤️
This match got me laughing 🤣🤣🤣 J, I know you have a champion's heart. But sometimes, you just got to sitback and enjoy the flow. Sometimes just need to let the clown be.
I wish you could come to balkans to try our style of football. I played cantonal league in Sarajevo for couple of games, the pressing and intensity is insane haha I was fighting for air after half an hour as fullback and Im not sure but by the look of it, football pitches are a lot longer then in this video. Anyway fantastic content broski.
So much going on in this match, pretty phisical game. But Jay, you have such a great mentality to face with or against them, and i mean it. This might be positively good and bad experience for you to be this strong. Hope to see you play with them next time with full recovery ❤
Hahaha, half of the talents in Africa are stolen by France and other European teams. Africa is full of talents that not all continents of the world have, but because of the colonizers.
Dude that’s the clearly example of “even if you are a Lamborghini you won’t shine in the wrong place” . That’s exactly what my pov see all the time when I play with my friends 🤣🤣
Jay when you were on the wing, you actually looked very dangerous. You knew when to invert. In the midfield, your orchestrating was fine. I think your team might have created more chances if your teammates completed the give and gos with you on the wing. As an African with slim physique, people often asked how I managed to play against huge men in midfield lol. I used feints and spacial awareness.
Reminded me of the old days in Morocco, we used to play organized football against west-african teams, it's the same as shown in this video, physical, intense and entertaining!
Good game you played against the African team Jay, so many fouls against players and there were so many freekicks. You did a good job comforting the young player I felt sorry that he was crying when he collided with the other team and his teammates didn't help him but you did, showing how great of a player you are and your sportsmanship.
bro come to the UAE 😂, its about the same experience except you play in a much smaller space and people actually know how to play in this environment. love ur football keep it strong
Jay can I just say, as a Nigerian, this is not how we play, we may shout but we are really good and sometimes organized, most of us are not this local and our field I usually good, btw liked the video
Jay.... I really love this you are doing.... It's really improving my game.... I'm so happy to see this spectacular channel..... I love you bro..... Thanks❤💯💯
As an African, this is a typical match here😂😂 , really sorry you had to endure that physicality. You are lucky you even kept playing, here the owner of the ball would have got upset and gone with the ball to his place 😂😂
I know this is another side of football but I really do not understand why someone would go to play there voluntarily. There is a significant risk of injury or serious contusion in these types of matches. Passion is one thing but aggression and recklessness for someone else's health is totally different. I can start to understand if this was professional but still this is amateur football. And "amateur" means "one who loves", there is no "love" on those type of pitches. Nonetheless, this is another great video from, just my advice is "Don't risk it all there!". Cheers from Bulgaria!
bro if i was you i would just quit and leave, no passing back, arguing as if its the world cup and just fouls a lot, Despite all that, you completed the match in high spirit. All respect to you jay 👍
no that's called being a big baby and not controlling your emotions. There were plenty of African guys there that were level headed and keeping their cool. Are they not playing in an African enough way for you?@@ytbeats8366
@@meeeech-fl7rs Correst translation is "African players have good manner and the game is quite tough for their good physique OMG and it was quite hard match for bad grass conditon and small field. It's relief that you didn't have any injury"
This is why yall won in the last video, Korea vs Africa. Despite your smaller size, you guys were more skillful and played smarter using teamwork and good passing, unlike here.
I really like how you want to explore and learn how other regions play football. If you try something new you will know if you like it or not.Personally I like football with consistent passes and strategy not the physical football. Thank You Jay keep it up
i see how strongly their upbringing reflects in their football style, their upbringing is staying strong, no matter how young or old one is, similarly, they are taught to be strong in the field, and that's why those big african players can resist those fouls so many times, and still get up and start playing. that toughness reflects so well in this
He has already received a warning from the opposing team. However, Jay deceived his opponent by receiving the ball, and even if he is fouled, he has no obligation to curse at his opponent.
Really love jays content but this is honestly just stupid yes i get football is a contact sport but some of the challenges that didn't get called and some fouls on jay just make it seem like they just want to hurt him and not even going for the ball but as always jay soldiered through great work bro keep it up ❤
african football games are one of the scariest experiences as a young teenager playing. I feel for the kid. I megged one guy in a match where is like only African players. The guy who I megged imidiatiately kicked me full force in the leg. He definitely wasn't going for the ball.
