Crazy Glasses (HD reshoot) 

This episode should have been called 'The Real Tim Shady'.

Y'know, Tim, I made a pair of glasses when I was in high school that would fit right in to your collection. I used an old set of frames for perfectly round lenses, and I mounted two sets of lenses on each side, made of polarized material. One lens on each side was fixed in place, and the other lens had a little handle on it. So the idea was that you could use the handle to rotate the movable lens, and because the lenses were polarized, it would let more or less light through depending on how you rotated it. So they were manually adjustable sunglasses. I think you'd have appreciated them.

I love the way Tim can remember when he brought the toys even when it was decades ago. I can barely remember what I did yesterday!

Tim, you're such a gentlemen for being too afraid to wear the leg glasses. You're a very sweet guy, and I adore you for it. I find it okay though to wear them to show what they look like because they're a novelty toy, but yeah, you do know how people are these days. I'm grateful you showed them period. They are part of your giant time capsule of toys that each tell their own story. Each piece is special no matter what.

m well taken with the show so far. Toys are neat little inventions that show someone's creativity and jolly nature. I don't think you can be a hateful person and design a successful toy.

Found this channel just yesterday and I just can't stop watching. Tim has such an amazing personality to him and along with his collection it makes for a great combination in this addictive series of videos!

Sadly, pin-hole glasses will only help your vision while you're wearing them. The idea that they will relax your eye muscles and/or exercise your eye muscles (Yes, somehow they claim both.) is completely quackery.

Loved them X-Ray specs - I had some from a joke shop back in the day! Some other ones I remember were the famous glasses which had eyeballs on the end of some springs!!!!!

I like Tim but don't propagate that bull about the pinhole glasses. Some people will just take it at face value and not realize it's largely a myth.

OMG! I have a pair of film roll sunglasses in my car! I got all excited about that for some reason.

The film roll glasses are very much like a type of inexpensive disposable sunglasses they give out at the optometrist (eye doctor) whenever they have to dilate your pupils. They are made of similar thin dark plastic like the film roll glasses you showed, also without frames, but they did have the two arms that go over the ear lobes to hold the glasses on you face.
