If you don't want to stand out from the crowd, assymilate, learn their ways, fall back in line. But in America English is so bastardized and disrespected no one even considers how they are butchering the language, ESPECIALLY the blacks. Where I come from if you can't speak proper, you are looked down and treated like garbage. Have some respect for your own language. But again, it's America. It doesn't even cross their mind.
