So I just wanna say that I lost interest in this video around about the time it came to add effects (and I was rushing to get it done before the new season came out) so I didn’t put as much effort into it as I might have and that’s why it’s come out looking so aweful. There are a lot of things I want to change about it but I just want to move on from this edit now so here’s to not letting the perfectionist inside of me win.
That said, I absolutely adore Jane. She’s one of my favorite characters ever and I love that the show actually took the time to address her trauma rather than just moving on like it never happened. The same with all the other characters.
Also Diane is amazing in this role and I’m so glad we get to see her in it. Side note: if you haven’t read her autobiography ‘In The Country We Love’ you really should. It’s brilliant but also gives such a huge insight into a really important issue. The way America and many other countries (including my own) treat refugees and asylum seekers and handle immigration is horrific and needs to change.
