Hell yeah dude same at my papa johns my rotes were near the vacation rentals and during summer on the weekend if we got enough deliveries those tips filled the tank. Miss that job

Starbucks is funny. Some old guy went to order at the location i used to work, i was PoS He printed out a seasonal drink email ad And demanded a free drink 😒 because i didn’t do it and he started yelling after i explained we were a business Apparently that means i got written up, after that i gave my two weeks. And starbucks wonders what happened to there senior staff or those that actually care about there drink craft. They want to be a community hub, yet never cares about there employees ever lol 😒

They opened an over 50's community about 2 years back right next to our local shopping center, the Karen's and Ken's now flood the place, car accidents have sky rocketed, the staff in stores no longer smile and hate their jobs or transfer, every time I'm there one will be howling at the counter for a manager and just generally being a nightmare for everyone else...
Maybe its because I was literally raised across the street from a naval base, but I will not deal with a Karen. I only encountered one in the wild and my 5'6" 120lb self (at the time 😉) put some drill Sargent bass in my voice, and she was literally shook into silence😂
Yo I'm a driver for Dominos Pizza and this shit INFURIATES ME. TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY. Sometimes I get 3$ tips, sometimes I get 50$ tips and sometimes nothing and everywhere in between. But even without a tip, I'M STILL GETTING PAID HOURLY AND I GET PAID EXTRA FOR EVERY MILE I DRIVE. Obviously tips are really nice, but if I don't get one, I'm JUST AS HAPPY to serve you and your family! Even with the odd no tip customer, I make 25/30$ an hour delivering pizzas with hourly, tips and mileage combined. Stay humble and screw drivers like that douche ❤😊
I used to work at a goodwill, and Karen’s would freak out about the prices (this was back in like 2014/2015, so prices were cheaper back then) and they would freak out over prices and would destroy the dressing rooms 💀 like bish, this is goodwill not Marshall’s

I always leave a tip, not because I have to, but because it’s a nice gesture. That driver is too entitled, I’d rub salt in the wound by removing the tip.
Ok, this is coming from a fellow doordasher/Ubereats driver, you don’t do that to customers. It was your fault for taking the lousy order to begin with. He had the opportunity to decline it and didn’t. (Doordash and Uber give you 30 seconds to accept or decline the order.) I hope she reported him. Cuz that’s in our contractors contract that we are not allowed to discuss tip amounts with the customers or harass them in any way about it. Hope he got reported for that.
