How to compare these 2 pioneers?! Just awesome to see them get down...they both influenced my teachers and my teachers' teachers, so I wouldn't even be here commenting, if they weren't exist! For me that cocky, yet not insulting attitude, the burns, the flow, the character...Yo! Crazy Legs! Essential!
Storm doing powermoves like that at his age made crazy legs look like a person who always makes excuses. But i love them both. They are both my legendary bgods i look up to. I am one of them but i am me and you are you. when two bgods meet up it becomes a god battle and not a bboy battle. its amazing how far we have come, and we name ourselves gods because they have the ultimate power. I once had the power but I lost it to the computer network, and now i am here. I AM THE COMPUTER NETWORK BGOD. Like my fanpage at p00ters1 - eboy not bboy. :)
ive had a privilege to meet crazylegs here in dubai and i still have videos of him speaking to all the bboys here educating us about every aspect of bboyin:) im not pretty sure what are the age differences between storm and legs but crazy legs stamina was weaker at his age of 50 and he mostly does djin now instead of breakin, on another hand, storm i guess still breaks and does workshops and most of the time judging and training so yeah:) shoutout to the organizers for having this battle happen!:) what an awesome legendary battle!:)
idk who was djing at this battle but he was on point ! mambo no5 for crazy legz and just begun was a big yessss hehehehe! i'd play them too lol :D good battle!!!!!
There's a whole generation between them and there is more than a ten year age difference between them. Storm was doing many of the moves crazy legs invented when Storm was a toddler. It's a great exhibition but not a fair match.
I can't believe Legs is still going at 50! Power to him. He got his butt handed to him, but in all fairness, Legs invented most of the moves Storm used against him.
It's funny how people debates on who won and who lost. This was a exhibition! The only loosers are the ones who don't get the message behind this exhibition. It was about longevity, about dedication, about love to this culture, about inspiring youths the keep rocking (a lot of guys/girls quit dancing after they hit their 20s) Mad love & respect for both elders, who had a big impact and influence into this dance!
Whoah storm all the way. He had the power, the flava, the creativity, the originality, the musicality especially with his toprocks, a crazy stamina and was on point in all of his sets. True legend.
I always wanted to see Ivan from Style Elements battle Thunder from Enemy Squad. They were both at an event in England, back in '97, but they didn't battle.
lol Legs called 2 times on Storm for doing windmills when in reality he did a different combo the 2nd time. But Storm didnt call Legs out on the backbend stand up he did twice, some people just let their moves speak not hand gestures hahaha.
Lot's of respect to both. Can't believe legs is still going strong at 50. On a side note, Legs invented the backspin from upright position, windmills, and belly windmills.
@@jorgelouis709 agree 100%. Kuriaki had beautiful super fast windmills. My favorite of the bunch was Swift. Kennie had the most beautiful floor style and he was so musical when he danced. Yeah sad about kuriaki and Buck 4. They was good people. RIP
Damn Storm had all his fanboys in the crowd. Respect to Crazy Legs for battling someone with ALLLL the home field advantage. Respect to both great showing.
dood, does not matter, crazylegs never bothered to learn powermoves , he had swipes and mills thats it, thats not a skill that you should go with to any competition, its kinda laughable , you get respect for what you do and he did not do that much when it comes to his skills as bboy, storm on other hand was fucking amazing theres tapes to prove that, thats about it,. all bboys know that cl might be the old one who estabilished itwith crew but thats just not enough to ge t same respect level as your actual skills on floor
It’s like pitting 50 YO Jordan VS 30 YO Lebron, not really fair because no matter how high the artistry, it’s a physical game, and the youth will win out. Mad respect to both, but without Crazylegs to create the genre, Storm wouldn’t exist to push the envelope further.
WTF do you mean who cares who won, this was a battle regardless of age !!! Lol it was one sided , Storm won ! Ken Swift vs. Storm would have been nasty.
