@@sheluvssmokedupeyes1 that's like saying anybody can be skinny you just have to eat right and work out... It's not that easy for everyone. I have long natural nails without doing much for it. But all my friends aren't able to grow them even if they try everything.

@@sarina5363 Yep also nailbed length is mostly genetic so someone with short nailbeds like me would never be able to anchor such long natural nails without them breaking. Same for nail shape. Most of her nails are very straight and evenly curved.

@@camille744 it rlly just depends of how your nails are. Like it they are sensitive and that's why you cant have them long. I have my nails naturally medium long. Its does take time and it also depends on your genetics. 😊

I have just learned that, but nailbed elongates when you wear long natural nails, the longer, the better. The skin underneath the plate grows with it, making it look like you have a long nailbed.

Nails grow back. Hand files damage nails too, it just takes longer. If you don't use strengthening products (gel), they wouldn't look this beautiful. So... don't fear drills; fear unskilled techs

I started taking multivitamins and it really helped in keeping my nails strong at that length! Though I did have them trimmed because I'm a dancer and they get stuck everywhere

Stop painting them entirely & learn how to file them. Nails tend to break because they snag on things. If you’ve been doing gel/acrylic you’re gonna have to do some nail rehab. Sometimes I’ll put oil on them to hydrate. Once you let them heal you can do top coat for added strength

Tips to grow nails like the client. I have really long natural nails. Nail polish will save your life. If your school is strict then use clear ones. If that doesn’t help then use cuticle oil(jojoba oil) on top of ur cuticles and nail polish coated nails. If you’re a nail biter, nail polish peeling will be ur new habit lol. After peeling the polish just don’t forget to put another coat on. This is my first hand experience so Hope this helps💖

The strength and curve of your nails is determined by genetics. Growing long nails is one thing, but thick, strong ones like hers are truly the genetic lottery.

OMG.....I would love to have strong, beautiful natural nails like this client! I have been wearing acrylics for over 30 years. She has the perfect nail shape...nice nail bed with c curve...she is so lucky! Tatiana you did a lovely paint on her nails!!!

Thank you so much for showing a natural nail video! I've got long nails with a strong C curve like these and seeing how you file the long free edge when they curve at these lengths helps so much. Mine are longer than this client's but I'm definitely going to be incorporating your technique in my next manicure.

I always had my natural nails underneath my gel manicure back in my early 20s. They were also as long as hers. It was very cool and looked fabulous, but it isn't that practical for ever day and since I'm working as a nurse, I can't have gel manicure anymore and my nails have to be very short.🤭 Her nails and your new manicure are looking stunning.😍👌

Idk if in other places it's like that, but here in Brazil you are not supposed to compliment girl's nails because of a superstition that if you do it makes them break or the nails polish chip 😂

But I think that what made her nail break is that she used the drill on the bare nails and also filed doing a back and forward motion, which weakens the nails

If I could add a photo to the comments I would but my natural nails are this long! I have a coffin shape and do use dip overlay coz im super clumsy and prone to bashing my hands on things. I found that in the years of having such long nails the nailbed has extended with them to support the nail. It is always cool to see how long I can get them - my husband hates them so it's just fuel to my fire! Haha

I have very hard, thick nails like my aunt but I don't let mine get as long; keeping my free edge only up to 1/3 the length of my nail bed for maximum strength (& so I can type easier). Could you please explain what you could do to keep the nails from tearing or breaking from the sides? Ever since I was a kid, I was always taught that filing the sides would weaken the nail (on natural nails), and it's something that I told my own clients for years. (I notice that my own will definitely tear more often when I taper the sides in more.) Thanks, and love your channel!

As a person with long nails, if you want them to less likely tear you can add a clear coat of polish. It helps a lot!(well atleast for me)

Personally I have always filed the outer edges just to smooth hangnails away and always in one direction towards the center. Keeps the edges clean and gives me a natural oval/almond shape.

@Lindsay Mongan had same problem until I started using Quimica Alemana Nail Hardener. Now people think I have gel nails but they’re my natural nails.

@Lindsay Mongan apply it halfway down ur nail from the tip. Let it totally dry. It’s very thick so apply a thin layer. Once it’s dry, apply it to the whole nail. Let it dry and then apply regular polish and top coat.

Thanks for this video, I've long natural nails too and have always struggled to fix my thumb nail curve and have tried many different things of filing to fix that, but now I have found what works perfectly for me! I keep a gel overlay on mine like this client- just a coat of gel base and top coat. I haven't broken a nail since I started. I just paint my regular nail lacquer over the gel since I like to change colors a couple of times a week and acetone doesn't remove the gel.

Use gelish structure gel before your gel polish and it will make them firm like acrylic but not damaging and soak off like gel polish. Its a thicker viscosity

Take collagen everyday, I used to have very thin nails and I can't grow it because it breaks easily. Now I can go on for months and months and months without breaking any.

My nails are naturally like this. I once measured them and they were 1inch long. But I really like how extensions look so I cut them off and put extensions on 😆. I know. I’m an idiot.

Haha, youre not an idiot honey! I also can grow my nails pretty long naturally but I prefer to wear gel extensions since I can make my nails as long as I want in short time and also they are less likely to break.

I never thought to coat them with a glossy top coat first and then a matte one. I always have so much trouble just coating with a matte coat. Your designs were beautiful...her nails though! OMG...where have you found this unicorn with these beautiful nails. I wish!!!! Actually, I should have because my mom has nails like that...but she did NOT pass that down! TFS!!!

Her natural nails are beautiful. I didn't know this length was super long though. My mom's nails grow in this shape but are twice as long. My nails are twice as long as hers as well but not the same shape. I love long nails, they look beautiful to me.
