@TheCommandersQuarters so it does go infinite, but only for itself. So you can get infinite Etbs, but your energy remains the same, use one, etb fail to Pay return repeat. You go down one energy and gain one from the elephant.

@AndresRx9 you would never have 2 energy with the elephant. This comes in gain 2, Pay 1 to cast elephant, trigger elephant with only 1 counter, it bounces to add 1, recast down to 1 bounce up to 2... there is never a point in the combo where the elephant is in play, seeing 2 energy, unless you add something else to it. So it's just infinite etbs

@@ServbotNumba40 there was a card that was also leaked that lets you gain 1 energy if a creature etbs, so you can actually get infinite energy if you have a way to spend it right away

Primal Prayers is basically a modern legal playable version of aluren, but with an energy twist, this is gonna go bonkers in energy decks, especially if you stay low to the ground, and yes it does go infinite with greenbelt rampager, you can probably just storm off with this combo alone or have infinite etbs.

Tutor it out/play it by activating/unequipping Sunforger, to make Boros, Naya, and any other three or more color decks with Boros colors in them. Obviously the more colors you have in your deck, the more cards like chromatic lantern are needed, especially if green is not in your deck’s colors.

Disruptor Flute would be deadly against decks that uses cards that you can have multiple copies of. Like for instance, Shadowborn Apostles, Rat Colony, Restless Rats, Dragons Approach, Seven Dwarves, that one slime spell from Murders at Karlov Manor. I know there are others but you get the idea.

Thraben charm could be a staple in sideboards of white decks in the Pauper format. With Relic of Progenitus hovering around $5, any card that can exile a graveyard will be useful.

I can't wait to put Spymaster's Vault in a modern mono black Madness deck I have. It probably won't break the game, because removal and sac isn't really a focus(though it exists in the deck), it will certainly plug up some efficiency gaps when I need/want to draw or need/want to discard something. In fact I just did a spec on Bloodthorn Flail because it seems MH3 is going to support Madness.

Breaker of Creation actually gains you a lot of life, because I believe that lands are considered colorless (besides Dryad Arbor)

Does Primal Prayers work? The wording seems off. If you cast a spell this way, you may cast it if it had flash..... but how is that if statement being triggered, rules-wise? You can't cast it before it gains flash. Shouldn't the 'you may cast creatures with a converted mana cost as if they had flash come first, /then/ the alternate cost requirement?

Imskir can easily be paired with Ojer Axonil so each treasure you sacrifice is at least 4 damage to a target so just casting say, a 5 CMC paid with treasures means it's 20 direct damage to anything (I'd chose thunderbolts and such so it's even more damage on top) If you add dockside on top well, it's a win on the spot. Granted a lot of moving pieces on that combo but is not like you'd be hurting for tutors on Black anyway.

I don't think it would work. Because Imskir is damage equal to the sacced artifact's mana value, but the treasure mana value is 0, and Ojer Axonil deals damage equal to its power if non-combat damage is dealt, so since the treasure token has 0 mana value, it deals zero damage, and the activated ability on Imskir wiffs, therefore the trigger on Ojer doesn't happen

I think you are overrating flare of fortitude. In modern it seems to me like sacrificing a creature to buy you another turn. If you are playing this you are behind and will stay behind. Can we talk about the art on these cards? These are better than most official MTG card art. Like the Tune the narrative art here is way better than any mtg art.

but sacrifice a creature for free is quite good tho. even if its a white creature, but there are many ways to utilize this. instant hexproof already means it eats up one spell or ability anyways.

Are you actually joking? This card is insane it’s a free tefaris protection it’s one creature when you’re out of mana, white has ton of small things to sacrifice, this will not replace tefaris protection but will definitely compete especially at tefaris price point, you crazy bruh..
