I love how mechanically the more these move techs are discovered the more when explained they sound like old video game cheat codes " Press X-Up-Up-Pull joystick down-Up-Down" etc x)
Awesome in-depth explanation here, great content as always! I also wanna clarify here; a few people have reached out about this being my tech since I posted a video on this a few months ago, but I already conceded credit to Jay in the comments on that video. His Rampart wall discovery was posted like Aug 2023, months before I brought it up. My only contribution was using it on cover away from Rampart walls, but the setup was known already.
Always a pleasure watching Mokey videos. From the explanation to the editing (which I always love reverse-engineering) it’s always an incredible journey of learning.
Was jump fatigue timed from the moment it begins to expire / upon landing from the first jump, or was it timed from the moment you initiated the first jump? I’m curious about the “1 and a half seconds” time explained in the video, because it seems like some people tend to time it from the moment of initiating the jump that activates fatigue, which is problematic.
Hi there, could you please point me out or explain how to make a free fly camera in R5 with custom zoom level/FOV, and is there any possibilyty to spawn flying dropship for filming?)
Figuring out the crouch combined with fatigue can get you even lower is smart but did it need a new name and video? Y’all are going straight up insane trying to have fun in apex still
Awesome content and awesome tutorial!! You and Treeree are the best at it I swear!!!! Could you please change the keyboard WASD overlay color next time tho? It was hard to keep up with the colors as I thought that the green color meant you were pressing on the button instead of the white. Keep it up man, much love!! 🔥
Deathboxes might be too low imo but we'll find out once the movement gods start getting the hang of this new tech. I think it's well known at this point that you can at least superglide and insta-glide off of deathboxes
This is the reason why Apex is my favorite shooter, this game is simply amazing talking about the build of the mechanics, love ya Monkey the video feels super gucci-well explained ❤
I call this one the "look-ma I'm doing it " since I'm new to advanced movement techniques. Remember though that good movement goes hand in hand with good aim/gunplay, never trade movement for aim.
NEW? this is shit I thought everyone figured out on their own already by accident. Its so easy to do this without meaning to when you learn fatigue bouncing. I learned this in 2019 long before even hearing of fatigue bounces
Bruh I did that since fatigue jumping was a think, didn't think it was anything too special because you can figure that one out easily when practicing fatigue jump on different types of heights
i dont think thats a "new" movement tech , tree re or gruic if i remember had a tutorial on how to do insta wall bounces from a still standpoint using the low crouch fatigue jump 1-2 years ago. You can find the video in their channel.
Imagine combining this with the superglide/insta-glide. Once the top part of the wall is destroyed and you only have the base left, it would make sense to no-ma bounce off of it once to dodge shots then land on it and instantly superglide off of it to dodge more shots or retreat or fly past your opponent and end up behind them
I'm still practicing it Honestly, just the knowledge of what sideways inputs + fatigue bounce (which I previously knew) has overall improved my wall bounce movement a little more I used to just avoid medium-to-small objects when considering traditional wall bounce or fatigue bounce routes but now I'm actively practicing with smaller objects Fun
yo so thats what ive been doing for about 2 years now, i told my friends it was an undiscovered movement tech i used to use a viper mini and theres a problem with all viper minis where if you scroll in one direction itll accidentenly scroll in the other every now and then so i could just scroll up and id be able to do this
I was thinking, would you consider binding W+jump on scroll together? As, let's say scroll forward inputs W+jump? I have tried it and it definitely makes tap strafe easy. What do you think about it?
I was kinda doing not fully intentionally, when my jump after slide (to slidejump - wallbounce) didn't register properly for whatever reason (ping, lag whatever) it also happened after bhop kinda automatically, so I used it sometimes.
I swear I've done this for years without realizing it was different from how I wall bounce anyway; I cannot figure out fatigue wall jumps so I almost ALWAYS slide jump into wall bounces, and I've definitely had some low ones
wait, this is new? I thought fatigue bouncing off of tiny crates was old af... No cap, although not everytime but i've often managed to wallbounce like shown in lvl 3 by default while practicing my infinite wallbounces. The crouched one is definetely new though, never seen that, gonna try
Been doing this for years on controller. Sad to see this come to light. Good thing I have a few more techs that no one knows about. People believe you can only wall bounce once for example. Super gliding doesn’t work just horizontally. Zip lines have so much tech behind them that no one uses it’s honestly surprising how stagnate people have become. Maybe I should make a vid. Might be worth giving up my advantages for some clout.
U can do the level 2 and 3 I think, just by using "s", back And side Input as well but I think it's more Consistent for Slide jump version than fatigue
Hey man, you have a connection with developers team, I wonder if you can influence them to "kill cheaters boosting market". You can store IDs of the teams, and then after the cheater gets caught you can take out x2 points gained for people who on purpose premade with cheaters to boost their rank. So, less people asking for boost - less cheaters in game.
Me realizing that Apex Legends players are looking for movement glitches that are *very nerfed* versions the implemented Titanfall movement. Meaning that even if you don’t know it, you like titanfall. 😅😉
I did that intuitively, i thought it was just one more way to use the fatigue bounce for small objects specifically😂 didn’t knew that was a completely new mov tech
I can't do like any movement but always love monkey's videos anyways! This one particularly caught my eye as a rampart main - although I play on console. I don't know movement to well but are these steps possible on roller?
i just realized in this season 20 that we can't mantle, even on reachable wall to climb while climbing pressing W + A or D after hour and hour in firing range doing my dailies boring time. and now while i am seeing this mokey already named it no - ma bounce xD
I tried to learn apex movement but never succeed. I feel like the jump key does not react with the mouse wheel when i try. Maybe i'm too hasty idk. If it just a timing question, i'll have to try
only recently found this out but was it always spoken about that you can super glide and super jump on controller/Console jump button on L2 trigger and it works
I love this, But... Are we at the point of movement in apex where we can only expand our knowledge about the techs we already know? Like neo strafing (without configs), It comes from tapstrafing. NO-MA bounce, it comes from wallbouncing. Is there still techs that are new from the ground to be discovered?
wait till there's no players and we can't find matches then they MIGHT either add a character that can wall run or add something to be able to wall run or something (they probably still won't but it definitely would be something a lot of people would enjoy and something new people would come back to) probably not everyone would enjoy it tho...so it most likely won't happen they'll just keep it to game modes
Ive been doing this without even knowing about it. I use octane and bunnyhop into walls to wall bounce i didnt think it was anything but just a regular wall bounce. Its not something i do all the time but i do use it in fights sometimes. Ive also done something similar as horizon. Ill use my q then fling myself near a box or wall then land right infront of it and bunnyhop into a wallbounce. Idk if its actually a no ma as horizon due to her passive though.
We give a lot of shit to Respawn for audio issues, or anticheat, etc. But I think it's equally amazing that they created a game that's this in depth when it comes to how players approach it.
i did lvl 4 a lot of time but never on small objects. but i stoped playing again even tho i bought new pc and new keyboard. but ill prob come back after summer since winter is cold and there is nothing 2 do
i thought this was already figured out ages ago? after watching this full video, my friend, swifty, constantly would do this, and even showed me how to do this, a very long time ago. does anyone know when this first was discovered?
This is much harder on controller than expected but it’s possible. You’d thinkn it would be as moving your stick diagonally but it has to be perfect to the point that it registers as a side and forward input. Other than that learning it isn’t that hard.
What if no matter what the hell you do none of the movement tech works? For whatever reason whenever I try my character just gets stuck, drops to the ground, and my movement speed is severally handicapped for a time
