Most of us could not care any less about the tournaments, but niantic cares more about the tournament player base than the average player. Proven by them delaying the move updates causing players to waste tm's, all for a tournament with less than 100 people?

Most said thunderpunch wouldn’t help typhlosion but honestly I think it does specifically because of pacing. Most people know it runs blast burn, solar beam which are both nukes. Now it has a little more versatility and doesn’t just have to switch when water comes in. I think this was a pretty good move for typhlosion.
At 12:22, I think it's the 1 turn bring-in bug, not the damage registration error. The Typhlosion swapped in after your Gligar fainted, so it should have got a 0 turn bring-in, but you got lagged a turn instead. Damage registration error is more clear-cut when the damage fails to register on the correct turn when the Pokemon are guaranteed to be synchronized, such as the start of a match or after a charged move. I see the 1 turn bring-in bug all the time, mostly when I bring in a Pokemon after a faint and don't get the fast move sneak when the opponent fires off an immediate charged move. Sucks to lose to a bug nonetheless, because had the game been working right you clearly would have won. What do the refs do about this crap in a tournament? Fix your friggin' game, Niantic.
Honestly I kind of hope these lag issues and broken mechanics persist through worlds, Niantic needs a hard lesson. Knowing Niantic though, it would go straight over their heads and they would deliver a message like “we found worlds to be underwhelming therefore we will be lowering our commitment to GBL”. 🤦🏼♂️
It’s battle rating is 367 in U league. If it got wing attack for a fast move and fly for a charge move, it’s battle rating *soars* to 515, which is very good. 60% win rate against open U league Would give noivern a power score of mid 80s . He just needs a better fast move and a more spam/bait charge move
@@dacubanmofo yeah i was thinking they could buff it with wing attack and fly or smt, giving it a niche among the other dragon/flying types since it's more charged move oriented and doesn't rely on dragon breath pressure
Typhlosion is definitely better than what the PVPoke ranking would suggest. Part of the issue is Incinerate is such a slow move that PVPoke underestimates it, since it doesn't factor in the user playing around the slowness, which would be especially important on a glassy Pokemon like Typhlosion. While I have seen people some people overrate Typhlosion slightly (a glassy fire type isn't never going to be meta filled with water types, especially when competing for a slot with freakin' Skeldirge), The coverage provided by Thunder punch, the speed at which is charges up those Thunder Punches, and the sheer damage of the Incinerates, are not to be underestimated. Also the existence of Thunder Punch actually makes the Solarbeam variant slightly more viable, since people may switch in a mudboi or other ground expecting a ThunderPunch only to to nuked by Solarbeam. Even if in practice 99% of the timeThunder Punch is just a far better move due to SB being so stupidly expensive.
I can’t make this up! I watched this video and went to go battle right after and ran into this exact team in my 2nd match lmao I was actually tripping out haha I managed to beat it though My team is Wigglytuff, A. Marowak, Umbreon. Wiggly Vs Gligar, charm fast move, block dig Opp switch to Typhlosion, immediately switch to Umbreon. Typhlosion blocked one foul play, goes for blast burn, I block go for another foul play, that one gets blocked, Typhlosion hits the blast burn, I get one foul play, I get hit KOd by incinerate. Send out A. Marowak, Opp doesn’t switch, I know blast burn is coming, take the hit for a bunch of damage but assuming Typhlosion isn’t going to stay in after charge move I switch to Wigglytuff and OPP goes to Feraligator. Perfect switch. Wigglytuff vs Feraligator, I have energy already and I need a debuff so I make it to icy wind and drop the attack, Feraligator lands 2 hydro cannons, then KOs Wiggly. A. Marowak at 40% health? and just a little energy, couple of fire spins and Feraligator KO, OPP sends in Gligar, I have energy and hit shadow bone and gligar KO, Typhlosion comes back with a hair more than a quarter health and I make it to a bone club and get a KO. GG to whoever decided to use this team on me 😄
Movesets; Wiggly: Charm, Icy Wind, Swift? (Trying it out because I never use my fairy charge move, charm does a lot of damage) A. Marowak: Fire Spin, Shadow Bone*, Bone Club Umbreon: Snarl, Psychic*, Foul Play
no.. but there something wrong in moves. I waste like 20 fast tm to try get powder snow on my cetitan.. then i use elite tm salamance and it didint even show fly as option. Atleast for me none new moves are online, so dont waste your tms. Seems always need use elite tm first and check are moves avaible
Hey Henry try lokix. I just did 2 sets with lokix using counter and went 3-2 on both sets. Used shadow swampert and talonflame with it. Its actually kinda decent but its bulk is so lackluster that unless it has a good energy lead or your facing dark types, it probably wont get any kos but it can definitely put in some work. Almost beat 2 umbreons without using a shield so any other dark types like obstagoon are free eats.
Think bout it, it's ranked even better in UL and that too it's shadow form. I got an UL rank 8 shadow cynda, looking forward to the cday cause I have missed it.
Win rate was about 50% so far. Just ran Lokix for 2 sets and went 9-1. It’s so fun! I can share team if anyone cares. It’s not super meta but moderately spicy and fun.
@@wilodragon5lokix on the lead, Dragalge and Azu in the back. If you run into double charm you could be in trouble as that was my only loss. Otherwise it was super consistent and Lokix can usually take one hit from most things.
