Behind the scenes of a rainy thunderstorm street photography session in Bangkok Chinatown. Shooting film on my new Fuji tx-1 (Japanese Xpan).
I shot two rolls of Lomo400, pushed 2 stops. It was my first time using the tx-1, so some mistakes were made, but a few nice shots as well.
Rainy street photography is my favorite form of photography, but doing it in Bangkok comes with some unique challenges.
The Fujifilm tx-1 is the most cinematic street photography camera I ever used and will be using it a lot more in the future, stay tuned!

Shooting in the rain is the most underrated form of photograhy. People will get really concerned about their gear which I don't blame them. But the atmosphere of rain gives off a photogenic vibe.

@@DarrylCarey A long time ago before I even owned a camera I was in Taiwan during a typhoon, but I didn't even leave the house that time. In Bangkok these just come out of nowhere and last an hour or two at most.

No tripod, it'd be really challenging in those conditions anyway, handheld at 1600 iso. Should have pushed 1 more stop I think.

Do you have to edit the digital scans much to achieve this look? I've never used film or scans etc.

There's generally not that much you can do when editing film scans, I only do minimal editing like cropping, slight color correction or exposure changes. But it's nothing like digital.

It's not a fake copy lol its a collaboration between hasselblad and fuji eg literally officially the same camera but in a slightly different skin but commonly referred as the same thing. I was being sarcastic. I thought you knew this but guess not. Bro 💔
