The cutscene with a hammer is perhaps a reference to Lisa in "Lovesick Girls", where she crushes car with a hammer. The cutscene where Somi is rapping while clapping her hands reminds of cutscene from Tom's Macdonald "No Response".

I recommend "Anymore". Someone says it has a vibe of the early career of Taylor Swift And "Outta my head", It's self made by Somi. I am addicted with this.

Lisa appeared on episode 5 of Somi's reality miniseries I AM SOMI (during prep for releasing her song WHAT YOU WAITING FOR) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fL8tBgOFQCg.html SOMI has a Korean mother and a Dutch-Canadian father Matthew Douma who does some acting (he's the patrolman driving by in this MV) including small part in popular K-drama Descendants of the Sun (on Hulu in US). Her father was on the military training tv show Real Men when Lisa was on and apparently watched out for her. Love seeing BLACKPINK + SOMI moments. Somi is also very flexible as she learned Taekwondo with her father for over 10 years and is an accredited 4th degree black belt (apparently this would qualify her an instructor to open up a dojo if she wanted). Her group I.O.I even incorporated a tornado kick into her choreography for Very Very Very. My problem with the previous MV is that she's playing a high school student though she's 20 years old now. Let's get past the high teen concepts before she turns 30. WHAT YOU WAITING FOR was probably my favorite non- BLACKPINK song last year (loved the mysterious part that sounded sorta like an unidentifiable mallet instrument). DUMB DUMB was a good song, but took a little getting used to. BIRTHDAY her debut song didn't really work for me and the video seemed too childish (yes I know Somi has a mischievous playful personality), but there was a b-side OUT OF MY HEAD that was one of my favorite songs of 2019. XOXO also had 3 b-sides. She did a performance video of English song ANYMORE for Naver OUTNOW. ON SOMI's FORMER GIRL GROUP(s): Somi lost on reality show Sixteen, which formed the group Twice and eventually left JYP for TTHEBLACKLABEL after a few minor collabs and tv appearances, appearance on reality show Sister Slam Dunk which gave us wish fulfillment group Unnies and the vastly underrated one song collab group GIRLS NEXT DOOR 옆집소녀 whose song DEEP BLUE EYES (prod. by Jinyoung of B1A4) deserved more attention, IMO one of the best Kpop songs of 2017. There was a reality show Idol Drama Operation Team about 7 idols co-writing a drama about a fictional idol group, adding some of their personal experiences. It had Jeon Somi of I.O.I, Seulgi vocal /dancer of Red Velvet, Moonbyul rapperof Mamamoo, YooA visual /vocal of Oh My Girl, D.na rapper of Sonamoo, Sohee and Soojeong. There are performance videos of the song. SOMI IN FAMOUS TEMPORARY GIRL GROUP I.O.I SOMI is most famous for being former center of the 11 member girl group I.O.I (one year contract temporary group formed from 11 winners out of 101 contestants on reality music competition tv show Produce 101).Their best songs / MVs were WHATTA MAN (GOOD MAN) a 7 member subunit song (Gugudan and WJSN members were busy elsewhere) and VERY VERY VERY (one of writer JYP's better songs). They probably would've been one of my favorite groups if their contract wasn't limited to 1 year and they'd continued as a group. The rookie of the year awards from 2016 were basically won by 2 groups: BLACKPINK and I.O.I. I.O.I MEMBERS' GROUPS AND SOLO CAREERS: There's said to be 'the I.O.I curse' or 'Produce 101 curse' where the 5 groups with former members of this very popular group are surprisingly unsuccessful in general. Before Somi started her new solo career ChungHa debuted as a popular soloist, the most successful member so far. SOHYE went into acting. CHUNG HA 청하 gave us some great songs: ROLLER COASTER, LOVE U, GOTTA GO (had one of the best looking Kpop physical CD releases ever), SNAPPING. ChungHa (one of the top 10 female dancers in Kpop) was also in one of the greatest collab songs ever WOW THING with Seulgi (main dancer + lead vocal of Red Velvet), Soyeon (rapper of (G) I-DLE), SinB (main dancer of now disbanded GFRIEND). IMO there should be criminal charges for this never getting a stage performance even at end of year award shows (4 different companies and they probably only created partial choreography for chorus). PRISTIN 프리스틴 had Nayoung (now acting & modeling) and Kyulkyung (aka Jieqiong, actress, model). They were a rookie of the year group with a ton of potential but were failed by their company. Best song is b-side BLACK WIDOW has dance practice video, Also MVs WEE WOO (debut song), 2nd song We Like was disappointing and company tried 5 member sexy subunit PRISTIN V song GET IT. GUGUDAN 구구단 had vocal god turned soloist Sejeong and rapper Mina (now actress), a great group known for a capella vocal skills and they've disbanded. So many good songs A GIRL LIKE ME, THE BOOTS, NOT THAT TYPE, and Seyeong x Mina x Nayoung subunit song SEMINA is really underated.. WEKI MEKI 위키미키 (pronounced like 'We' and 'Me', the only 'meh' is their declining CD sales despite the group getting better) has underrated rapper/dancer Yoojung and popular visual Doyeon. Their best songs/MVs are CRUSH, PICKY PICKY, COOL. Other good songs TIKI TAKA, OOPSY, DAZZLE DAZZLE, debut I Don't Like Your Girlfriend and 2nd song La La La were okay. DIA 다이아 has Chaeyeon (visual, actress, model), but has never done well, but their suspenders based choreography in the MR. POTTER dance practice was fun. There was songwriter/producer controversy when their song WooWoo sounded like Tinashe's Superlove. WJSN 우주소녀 aka Cosmic Girls has vocalist Yeonjung, probably done the best with album sales. Best song is from their more grown up 4 member subunit WJSN THE BLACK song EASY. Some other WJSN MVs: upbeat pop song HAPPY (has similar energy to I.O.I hit Very Very Very), Boogie Up, Save Me Save You, Secret. There was a one shot collab WJMK 우주미키 song STRONG which had Yoojung & Doyeon from WekiMeki and SeolA and Luda from WJSN.
