Thanks to everyone involved in the making of this score, I am so proud of this movie. Huge thanks to the incredible director Jon Chu for bringing this amazing film to the big screen and to Kevin Kwan for having written such a fantastic story. This movie inspired me. I hope you all enjoy the music as much as we did making the film.
Awesomeee @Brian Tyler I'm your huge fan from India....❤️❤️ I perform this piece from your music inspiration ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MrKYVuRSVRM.html - Goldsmth
Excellent composition! You really told your own story filled with emotion within the movie story that made the whole theatre cry. Congratulations! Cheers my friend!
If you look at his history of almost 100 films, he’s done so much more than action scores. And his best work is on the non-action scores in my opinion. Like Children of Dune, Greatest Game Ever Played, etc
As an ABC (American-born-Chinese) I feel so happy listening to the Love Theme because the motifs (e.g. 3:00) are rooted in melodies similar to what I would hear whenever my grandma has Chinese TV dramas on but at 3:34 it takes a little Western symphonic turn. I don't know if that was intentional but it was a really nice surprise. To have the music sound like this lush American and Asian mix in a big movie is something I haven't remembered since Mulan. So much cultural expectation is riding on this movie that it's hard not to be proud of everyone who is a part of it. Thanks Brian for your music
I love the layered quality of Brian's music and I LOVE his energetic themes. I hope he returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his scores for Thor The Dark World, Iron Man 3 and Avengers Age of Ultron are in my top 10 film scores. Thank you Brian.
Never knew who you were until you composed the amazing new theme song for my favourite sport, Formula 1. Now I notice your name all over so many of the movies I love, this one included. Thank you Brian Tyler, you are awesome!
The second half strangely reminds me of John Powell's score for Bolt. In any case, a beautiful score, and there's nothing like experiencing it through the full orchestra. Thanks for posting these videos! I wish Brian Tyler would do a U.S. tour with live orchestra the way Hans Zimmer has. Honestly, I wish all composers would do that!
I'm an Asian and what attracted me to this movie was not the fact that this is the first Hollywood-based movie that has an Asian centric cast, but it was because of Brian Tyler. The movie got my attention because Brian is the person behind the music for the movie. You're so talented Brian. Please continue to produce great music as good music pieces as such are my adrenaline!
There is so much skill, emotion, heart, labor, commitment in all the work from so many, you, director Jon, musicians, all the supporting staff and orgs, it's beautiful & I'm so happy you also had such fun making it for it shows.
Brian, this is your best score since Thor: Dark World. Have enjoyed your work since Children of Dune. I wouldn't be surprised a couple of award noms are heading your way later this year.
Brian! I just discovered that you also composed the “main titles” of final destination 5. Honestly, that piece and “running away” from this film are masterpieces. I only wish there was a video performance of running away! Really great stuff!
Once again confounding the naysayers by those two beautiful pieces, first with that wonderful Jazz / orchestral piece and in that lovely slow piece, I would assume maybe a love theme. Absolutely beautiful music!
You have done such a wonderful job with the score! The score REALLY DREW ME IN MORE into the movie and story and scenes! Oh I can go on! Wonderful! Very wonderful!
I didn't pay attention to who was the composer of the score before the movie, but I remembered that as I was watching the movie I went "Hey this score is real good. I gotta find out who did this". When I found out it's Brian Tyler, I was like "Ah! No wonder..." :)
want a amazing arrangement...WOW your ideas are amazing your have a gift from GOD...Your music ..please keep the music playing 24/7....San Juan, Puerto Rico
This is a very nice piece!!!! . I really like the mood and the arrangement you build up trough the entire piece(s). It sounds really Brian Tyler. You're one of my favourite composers, directly after J.Williams. Great Music! Love it!
I am a big fan of Brian Tyler. I'm really curious about how to make such good music. So, my dream turned into a musician thanks to Brian Tyler. Among the Brian Tyler songs, I like Heroes Unite, Now You See Me Title.I'm a South Korean fan,and I am not good at English. You're a genius musician.:)❤️❤️❤️
This is my favourite Brian Tyler score, not just because it's not action music but also because he uses Jazz and softer elements in the score, the relentless action gets boring and repetitive after a while.
I know the love scene melody on 3:00 were taken from an old chinese love song. I only remembered the melody and could not remember the song name or even the lyrics. Anyone here can help me with the original song that inspires the melody?
I never understood the guy at the front with his wingardium Leviosa wood stick. Normally, people have their eyes on their music sheet lol. and follow the beat of the drum.
me da vontade de chorar ouvindo isso ..que perfeição meu Deus. como Deus é maravilhoso. que Dom lindo que ele te deu. que você continue a tocar o coração das pessoas.
It has nice camera work, but the cameraman isn't aware who is sitting the first chair(s violin, 2nd violin, viola), it's whoever is artistically close to the position he's at in the rear. All that aside, where can we get the full score sheet?
