My wife and I went to that island this past January. It was busy and hot there. The hill by the ferry is very steep there. we were too scared to go over the mountain with the rented scooter.

Once again you two bring me such joy when I see your vlogs. I am openly smiling and relating to your chats. Note you stole my laundry technique! I turned a load of our laundry a light pink by mixing in a red towel with the whites. I never did laundry again for many years! I never admitted to knowing the red towel was in the mix 😀 and Flora I am with you about eating crab! So much work for just a few little bites of crab meat and very messy but it is delicious! It was so good to see Rocky. I hope he is behaving himself. Perhaps you have the confidence in him to retry that camping trip you had planned sometime back now that his tantrum days appear to be behind him? Beautiful island well worth a visit. Haha so sneaky with the laundry trick! Rocket has been behaving but it’s too hot in Thailand to camp 😆 Maybe in the future when we head back up North for the winter months, we can live out our camping dreams 🏕️

A very chill - and stormy - video. I have thought about Koh Chang to be a future destination in Thailand - so a couple of suggestions about what-to-do would have been fine 🙂 But as always a very nice video.
I loved my stay on Koh Chang (Elephant Island) in Dec 2021. The views were spectacular, especially the sunsets on the west coast. The people were so friendly and helpful. But I only saw 1 monkey.

Hello from Norway! Have you been to Wai Chek beach all the way south on koh Chang? You can walk there from Salak Phet village. I was there in 2015-ish, and is was deserted and stunning. 🖖
Long time subscriber, seldom comment, but I want to thank you both for the entertainment over the years. Glad to see you're feeing much better Flora; Note... well you must look in the mirror every day and thank the stars how lucky you are 😀. Main reason for my comment...never have Barracuda sashimi unless its at a very high end specialist restaurant, and even then I'd stay away. Barracuda are highly susceptible to a nasty type of worm ... not something you'd enjoy, trust me. Best wishes and thank you again for the continually superb content.

Woahh!! I did koh chang then koh samet and you guys did the opposite. Been here in February this year and it was quite pleasing ^^ However I didn't like koh chang much. Koh Samet I really loved going.
The island has been hit so hard by the pedmic, lots of pubs were closed.been there twice last year, but I stayed in the west side of the island, and planning to try east side at the end of the year. Thanks for the video.

I agree with her that thai food in koh chang taste very good and cheaper than any other island, and But FYI cost of motorbike isn't 300 baht a day, if you rent for several days, can be 150 Baht
