@@5deeplogic676 If someone is within reach (about 3ft.) of you, then you will not have time to react if they sucker punch you. That is them being inside your reaction zone. Step back, step back again if necessary. Side step. Circle. These retreats will also help your case if you defend yourself and end up charged in court anyway. Yes, that happens. People who defend themselves often end up charged with assault. Ask the person to stay back. If they advance upon you after your retreat and request for them to stay back; then you have reasonable cause to believe they mean you great physical harm and you can legally defend yourself. Actually, the request is not even necessary for reasonable cause, but it does reinforce your self defense case if you choose to do it. In other words, if you retreat and are pursued, you already have reasonable cause to strike first in self defense. You should then either run or strike first. If you strike first with reasonable cause, it's still self defense. Never punch anybody in the head with your bare hand. You are more likely to break your hand than knock somebody out or hurt them. These videos are cherry picked for knock outs. The vast majority of head punches result in a broken hand. If you can, pick up a hard object or other make shift weapon that is available and hit them with that.
The lack of awareness was appalling. Nearly every one of these were a first punch, many suckerpunches. Is it not instinctual that its a bad idea during a heated confrontation to let someone in arms reach. This was a wild compilation
IMO, the whole 'don't flinch' tough guy thing is so dumb. I don't care how much they think I look like a pansy for getting my guard up- if they look like they're fixing to punch, my guard is going up.
I fucking hate commentary on these things, but I will say I appreciate that you're doing the commentary with your face and voice rather than shitty text to speech.
Man we just want to see the knockouts we don't want to hear your theories from the chair but we'll watch you fight so we know you know what you're talking about
Untrained people rarely think of throwing punches to the body. They all want to get to that one hay maker in hoping to knock the other guy out! Any of them go up against even a good street fighter would be in serious trouble! 😂
Oh the art of the unseen punch. Never shall the slow motion cartoon windup find purchase The unseen punch on the other hand… That’s what I like to call the sleep aid
I position myself sideways so as not to offer the attacker so much surface area to hit me (pushing would be also not so easy ) and from this position I can attack for example with a side kick towards knees and run away . I dont like boxing at all .. so primitive . To all boxers out there Don't forget Self-defense continues in court and your shattered fists will speak for you 😳
