I'm agreeing, it was so unfair being killed inside your car when your super new to the game, it happened to me once when I had 10 xp (now 11000) it was such a pain in the a*s.
The thing that is awesome is to see guys like them that have more than 300k or 400k and still arrest poor criminals and think that they are good. Just in case, i will repeat some things that are inside this game. 1. The criminals by default without paying any robux get no armor. All police officers (Normal police and Traffic police) have an armor of 35% and all swat guys have an armor of 60%, and that mean a normal police guy can take 2 sniper shots without being killed and swat guys 3 sniper shots without being killed when a normal criminal can only take one sniper shot without being killed. When you buy the criminal gamepass, according to my test, it give you 35% armor like police officers but you need to pay for it because it's not free it cost 399 robux so it's completely unfair and that need to be reworked. 2. The criminals need to pay for a weapon and that is really expensive even if you have the criminal gamepass that decrease almost all prices. All police officers get weapons for free and get ammo for free when here again, it's paid for criminals. When you are criminal and you get killed or arrested, your weapons are lost and you need to buy them again. 3. The gun system and the taser, there is a lot to say about it because i'm really annoyed to see other people think and say that it's just the skill when it's absolutely not. The gun system and obviously the taser, as far i know (i'm not the dev of this game but dev on some other games), use a server sided "raycasting" check. I will explain you what it mean and what is the problem with that because obviously with that technique you can avoid cheaters but you get a lot of problems exactly like in this game. To detect who is hit you can use the physic with a real bullet or you can raycast, this game probably use the raycast because it's a technique much more optimized than the other one and much less laggy (bullets pass through walls for example). The raycast need a position (Starting point) and need a vector (Direction) and that's all. When the raycast hit something, it will generally stop (not the case in all games) and return what was hit. With that you are able to know who has been hit and you can apply damage. That in theory is really good but this game use this function on the server so that mean, if you have "500 ms ping" then when you tase someone, the server will apply all maths server side and that 500 ms (1 sec / 2) after you press "LMB" and that will induce problems like you hit 1 / 2 times on someone that is jumping for example. If you don't trust me, make a weapon in roblox studio using Remote Events and Raycasting and you will see that it's a big mess. So this is why when someone is jumping, walking and making "S" or even inside a car, is really difficult to hit mainly because of that. 4. Shooting, killing and tasing people inside a car. Before someone say something, that is probably a bug and not a feature. Like i said above, the weapons use the raycast and the raycast is basically an invisible beam or maybe more known as "raytracing" rtx etc. This technique can hit an object and on roblox even hidden objects can be hit unless you bypass them and inside this game, when you are in a vehicle, the character is invisible but strangely not bypassed from that function. According to what i saw, you can tase on the top and sometimes on the window and that is the exact place of the character "head" and the character "arms" so that need to be patched and replaced by something better because it's really annoying. Now when you try to hit someone, you can hit on the top but is not the case of every vehicle, they all have a specific position but is mainly on the top. Now when you want to tase a vehicle that is moving, you can tase from the front, otherwise it's really complicated and in this video, the guy can tase someone inside a vehicle from the side so unless that guy is a cheater that i don't think, it's purely luck and i will explain you why. When a vehicle is moving in the same direction of you, it's easier to hit because the axis won't move that much, it's similar to a sniper when you want to shoot a moving target for example in Arma 3 or Squad but the big difference is the latency. In this game, you can't predict the position of where will be the car according to the angle of the car, the position of the car, the acceleration and the speed of the car unless again you have a cheat to calculate that. For example, if the car has an acceleration of 10 m/s then in 1 sec it's 10 m but if an other car has 20 m/s then it's 20. If you don't know the acceleration and the speed of the car, it will be really difficult to anticipate because if it's not 10 m/s but 20 then you need to anticipate 20 m away but that is only available for a car directly in front of you because the angle is relative to the distance between you and the car so further the car is, less will be the rotation. If you don't understand just try and you will see. Now to finish, this game is really good but is completely unfair and almost made for police officers (not always but almost). I don't see the point to play criminal because everything is better in police, you get more money, you don't have to pay for weapons or even ammo, you won't loose your weapons etc. Just a little disclaimer about me, i play police everytime in this game, i have 30k xp so i know that game and when you are in SWAT, if you have 700 xp in your shift, you get almost 20k and you won't have the risk to get arrested. After 25k xp in total there is no point to farm because you won't get nothing else unless the game get an update. I stopped to farm around 18k xp and trying to arrest only guys that were shooting because it's much more fair than arrest people that want to farm, so people that want to buy a gun can farm without it and without being arrested until they have enough money to buy one. About that, and it's not surprising (except in this video but it's just a compilation of rare moments) but almost all criminals are unnarmed because guns cost too much (I talked to a lot of them and that was the main answer) and that is completely comprehensible. I went to this game because atm "Emergency Response Liberty County" lag as hell but except some problems like the taser, the gameplay is much more fair even if it's more for police than criminals, the criminal team is not useless and you still have a point to play in this team. The taser doesn't lag like emergency hamburg, the weapons doesn't lag too, the criminals get more money even without the gamepass than police officers and that is completely legit for me, otherwise why someone would play criminal when they earn less than in police ??? When the tires of a vehicle are bursted, the vehicle can't move and that is much better than emergency hamburg when you need to wait for the criminal to crash its car otherwise it's an infinite pursuit. The basic police officer die at 2 sniper shots exactly like everyone else even Swat guy if i remember so here again weapons are much more efficient. Weapons cost much less, for example an M249 (Gamepass weapon), is the most expensive weapon in that game and cost only 2,5k so, much more criminals use weapons and that is much more fun. Police exactly like civilians can't hide inside a car because it can get destroyed and put on fire and will start damaging everyone inside the car so that will avoid police guy from staying inside the car, unlike emergency hamburg. In emergency hamburg, a lot of police officers (especially when they have a lot of xp 40k for example) play alone and that's all. In ERLC when you have a group of 4 armed guys, you need to cooperate with others even if the guy has "340k xp" that happened to me one time with someone else. The xp doesn't matter, it's the cooperation. I'm not saying that in ERLC, no one steal suspect from other police officers, but i almost have 50k on ERLC and i play since 2019, and compared to Emergency Hamburg that i play since maximum 1 month, i never seen that much police officers steal suspects like in emergency hamburg. I just made a book and i don't think someone will read this but what i said is the truth unless you don't want to admit it. Even on the "Emergency Hamburg" discord, they admit it especially for weapons. I'm not saying that ERLC is much better than Emergency Hamburg but a lot of things are much better.
i totally agree with you but the tryhards haven't empathy and sympathy rip, they just arrest every criminals whatever it takes and no ask questions, lol insane brain. and one more thing, i don't know why cop can arrest criminal when they both running lol, that is unbalance and not normal. you should tell all your thinking to the game creator, if he will change the game, that is good. If he doesn't change, then someday will no more player. Well, not our problem, i believe will find a better game in future and let the tryhard keep arrest themself😂
