9 times out of 10 I'm optimistic and give most levels an A for effort, but in this case I just can't. Crazy Time has took over the TikTok GD community by storm, and I can party see why considering how impressionable the TikTok community is. If you have played Geometry dash for quite a while, you could tell that this is one of the creator's first full levels, and there are so many thing this level has that really bother me.
First off, the first impression of your level is always the decoration, and naturally you'd want it to be pleasing to the eye, but in this case it doesn't do any justice for Crazy Time. All it has is just a pitch black background with custom drawn obstacles, and aside from the bossfights, I'm willing to go as far as saying the level has no decoration at all.
Second, the gameplay is just not good. Aside from the overly generic concept, it's poorly executed, seen as there are a lot of bad transitions that give you little to no time to react, such as when you enter the spider or the bossfights. It is also pretty unbalanced, because from my experience it goes from 7 star, then easy demon, then 8 star, then hard demon, then easy demon again, making unfun and annoying gameplay.
I mean, if it was just some random level on the recent tab I'd have zero problems, but considering it has over 7 million downloads by now and hundreds of thousands of likes, this is just not what I would expect from a proper level, let alone of this popularity.
Overall, there's no way this is getting rated anytime soon due to poor quality at most aspects.
