Hey Jeff. Really enjoyed that! From my experience with Tower3DPro I'm wondering if it might not be better to stage the outgoing traffic that comes up via taxiway A onto the runway at A4 or A5. That way you can have two separate streams of traffic that would not interfere with one another. What do you say?

As someone who has spent their entire life spotting at LHR, I know it is impossible to send the Etihad departing from 27L during arrivals - double runway Ops are simply not possible due to the sheer number of arrivals. As such, that go around was entirely because you sent the Etihad to the wrong runway to takeoff, it should’ve gone all the way to 27R as they do in real life!

In actuality, during the first 3 minutes of this video, Heathrow would have had 3 aircraft land. I'm sure ATC doesn't have time to chat 🤣 Although as a simulator, that would be no fun.

How do you control the callsign on the METAR? On T3DP you just right clicked the plane and dragged the sign to the desired angle. But I'm not sure how to that on TS3.

Jeff, for departures I always give them contact departure instructions when I clear them for take off. The game gets too hectic keep trying to remember who you have handed off. I’m sure it’s not realistic or what you would do in VATSIM. Basically the instructions I give them is call sign clim to 5000feet on reaching turn right heading XXX, contact departure, cleared for take off.

The pilot voices are sometimes slow to call up for pushback. The plane will show up on the ADIRS like a minute before the pilot calls you for pushback clearance. A lot of the times you gave them clearance to pushback before they asked you for pushback. That's ok. It's just a fault of the game. I think that's why you were confused often about hearing a pilot ask for pushback and then not seeing any plane on the ADIRS that was waiting for pushback clearance.

Great stuff Jeff, only thing that bugs me a little is that you said domestic and international. In europe, airport terminals works a bit differently from America. In Heathrow, there isnt a definite domestic terminal or international terminals. The terminals are set based on the airline. Terminal 2 and 5 in Heathrow both serves domestic and international. Other than that, great stuff been watching you since the old days of CodeZero on GTA 5

You can move outside of the tower to look at planes. You aren't stuck in the tower the entire time. I'm not sure what key it is

I think you can map the F keys on your keyboard to the 3 monitors you have in the tower, so the entire monitor fills up your entire screen

Jeff, standard practise for taxi instructions includes telling them a holding point which is why you’ll get them waiting at weird places if you don’t include a holding point

Heathrow woohoo! i live a few miles away and i'm lined up nicely with the runways - some rush hour mornings the airpot can get over one hundred landings in an hour. during the dark winter mornings i get a great view of all the planes on approach and peeling from the stacks. it's like a dance. btw anyone else think Shuttle 3 Papa sounded a bit hysterical?

Top tip for those wishing to control egll on tower sim. Feel there implemented holding points for this airport. The holding points can be found on the real live charts. One can use “taxi to satun “ for example. Saves problems where the taxiways converge at the runways.

This is cool but it clearly follows American procedure, a lot of things inaccurate with how real world operates and Heathrow specific phraseology. I thought they would at least have the named holds, but they didn't even bother with that.
