But…. Can you do it on a guitar? That’s what makes the difference in talent. I’m not saying you’re not talented, that’s not the point. My point is that the solo is much more difficult on guitar simply because of how the instrument is designed. You’ve got 10 digits to hit 10 consecutive notes, a guitarist has 4 fingers. You’ve got as many as 88 individual notes, guitars have 6 strings. So, just off the bat, the difficulty scale is increased. BUT…. Like I said, you are very talented, but it will take a guitarist playing Rachmaninovs 3rd Piano Concerto to impress me, lol😂 keep up the great work, and keep the classics alive!!!
As a keytarist learning the guitar, i’d say it’s much easier on a guitar. There’s so little space for such an amazing solo, and it just astonishes me how even a beginner like me can learn it. Though, I play it quite slowly but i’m getting faster everyday. On the keytar, it’s so much harder since you got to use the pitch, use one hand and the keys are all so much smaller than regular keyboards. See, a guitar is no problem with one hand, on a keytar it takes months of practice to play anything with one hand.
