Walmart employees actually start at 10$ an hour into 11$ after training and that's for the bottom tier like Cashiers, Janitors, and Cart Pushers. The real problem is Cooperate and managers really like to cut their hours for larger bonuses, leaving departments understaffed being a regular problem. They also make full time employees at risk of being demoted to part timers and lose their insurance. I work at one, it really sucks...
@@Tomha 10 or 11 an hour is below minimum, livable wage depending on where you live. In Illinois, 10 bucks is right at minimum wage but you definitely could not survive on that income. Maybe if you live with your parents

This isn't an issue of pouring more money into a broken system, but about growing a spine and telling insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and for-profit hospitals to step the fuck off.
The trash collectors in my area drive nice trucks. They don't even have to get out the truck to get the trash. They ride around for 8 hours a day and make great money. Full health benefits. Retirement.. 401k. It's a good job.Q
