If you are in decontam which is considered a dirty area, your nose should be covered. You are breathing aerosolized microorganisms. This is PPE basics.

I have a friend that she is, studying Sterile Processing in a very amazing school, is only for 4 months, and the price is very cheap $800 and they teach you everything you need is online but every week you meet the professor to go over everything you did during the week and I'm the middle of the course depending how you develop yourself, he put you in different hospital to get practice and people could know you, and then at the end you do you board exam and that it

Wow, the day/shift must go by quick - which is nice to know. I thought the tasks were going to be a lot more repetitive than this but it looks like there is quite a variety of things to do.

I appreciate what shes doing and such, some of it is wrong,but in what part of this is she talking about exam questions. Shes just giving highlights about the job... Nothing about exam questions...

The questions at crcstreview.com and those at Propofs are the only practice questions I used. I am cheap and did not want to spend more than 30 bucks on practice questions. Combination of the practice questions from the two websites did the job for me. I don't know about you.

I've been working in sterile processing for 13 years and the hospital I work at, we put the instruments in order in decontamination while cleaning them so when they make it on the clean side, putting the set back together is relatively easy. I found out afterwards that lots of hospitals do not do this....

Theres a method called the "envelope" that a lot of technicians use. The more folds the better.

You can go to school for several months but your department will train you. You have 16 months to get take the exam and get certified. If you fail you can take it again in a couple of months. So the entire time is training but they usually let you go on your own after 3 months
