I am making an easy Turkish baklava that will amaze your guests with the skill. This creamy filling and hazelnut stuffing comes beautifully and so easy to make.
For the semolina cream filling:
1+1/2 cup milk
3+1/2 tbsp semolina (I used half of the dough in the video to make bonus walnut baklava. If you want to make only shobiyet baklava use 2+1/2 cups milk and 7 tbsp semolina and add enough milk if needen after cooled)
For the dough:
35 gr. butter at room temperature
1/4 cup each vegetable oil, milk
half egg
100ml water
1 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp vinegar
about 2+1/2 cups strong flour
1 tsp leveled baking powder
about 1 cup or more wheat or corn starch
also 125gr butter for the layers
for the syrup
2 cups sugar
1+1/4 cup water
3-4 drops of lemon juice
