I agree with you, I feel CREAM is undoubtedly one of the best in the world when it comes to his craft but sadly that is not what gets rewarded in this day and age. Also to touch on what you said about writing in such a way as if you sound like you dissing but not mentioning the person... I can relate to this because I think as emcees / rappers or lyricists we tend to allow that part of our craft to make us that person who no1 should fuck with...
