Just like I wrote in this video’s title, create a club is nearly dead. What could have been the most used and most loved feature is now unchanged for 3 years and honestly, it’ll probably stay like this until its removed in FC27. But it doesn't have to be this way. You can still have a really fun save while using this mode.
Not that most people have actually tried it though. I asked in a poll last year, how many people have used create a club, and From 25,000 votes, 45% of people said they haven't touched it, and another 45% of people said they barely have. That’s over 22,000 people saying they’ve given up on create a club.
Creating a club is one of the most underrated ways to make career mode more fun. What's more fun than designing everything from the teams kits, to the stadium and players and watching them rise up the table? Well, the tools might not be exactly what we want, but with a bit of creativity or PC modding, you can make things absolutely amazing.

EA should've just copied the customization from old school PES where you could even design your own sponsors and logos etc.

My issues with the create a club mode is; * Lack of customization of kits, logos, players and so on. * The fact you HAVE to choose a rival at once. * Limited room for creativity, and something other than the normal career mode. * Players should be fully customizable. * Sponsors for kits and stadium should be a minimum, specially because the kits we can choose from are so, so, so basic.

I'm actually one of the guys who plays Create A Club very often. If I'm looking for a quick dose of FC24, I'll be making kits for clubs I might end up making with mods.

Customizable logos are a thing even in NHL which is made by EA so why not copy it to FC?

The lack of sponsors and upgradable stadiums kills this mode for me. If they had these and more features way more people would play this mode.

You can at least change the default stadium template you use every season, and rename it and recolor it.

@@mrXOwarrior I usually do that if I’m starting in the lower leagues. Imo it would be much more interesting if you could properly upgrade the stands using money generated from revenue, even if it came out of the transfer budget I would still take it. Dream league soccer have a decent system and it’s a mobile game, EA should implement something similar.

I absolutely loved my last create a club on FIFA 23. I’m Bolivian-American, so I wanted to make a mainly Bolivian-team in England to start as low as possible. I researched where the small amount of Bolivians in England lived, made a storyline of famous Bolivian businessman Marcelo Claure investing in the club to start a pipeline for Bolivian talents to Europe and voila: I had a club that I actually had a personal connection to. Unfortunately after 8 seasons I accidentally overwrote the save 😅 I might have another go at the same idea in FC 24.

I like creating teams based on empires and former countries or regions, in which I can only buy players from the countries occupied by that empire. For example, if you want to do the Roman Empire, the badge and kit colours would be red, white, and maybe gold, and the club and stadium names would be in Latin. In this career mode, you could only use players from the current countries that the Roman Empire occupied. I personally created a career mode with the likely fictional Traco-Geto-Dacia.

I don’t use create a club game modes often but I usually create phoenix clubs on fm, there are a lot of lesser known leagues that had a great team or 2 that is now defunct, withdrawn or no longer fields a football team. An example is Grupo Desportivo Lam Pak (or known as GD Azul-Branco) Macanese team with 9 titles, the most successful club that no longer fields a football team due to financial issues after they started to have worse performances in league, they made a huge investment but failed to make progress and had to withdraw because could not pay players

That's awesome that you made the Birmingham Legion. I live in Alabama so I appreciate that. Been to a few of their preseason games when they played Atlanta United from the MLS. But one correction. The Legion play in the USL Championship. Which is designated as 2nd Division in the USA. Not 3rd. lol.

I've never used create a club other than for creating actual Serie A clubs that are unlicensed - Roma and Napoli. My Napoli save was one of my favourite ever. Changing kits is a small but really critical way of keeping the game fresh imo. Makes every season of your save feel unique. I think I would only ever use it to recreate authentic clubs, as I do like some level of realism in my save. I've thought about creating Bayern as I really don't like their normal kits this year. Deportivo is also an option I've thought of

I play for a soccer team in real life and I put every player in my real life team on to my fifa team and put them in the MLS. Honestly pretty fun

I haven’t played fifa since FIFA 22, but I had a great created club called CF Torrevieja, a club for the beautiful city of Torrevieja, which has a sizable population for a city without a major club. It was so fun and I’ll probably make them a again whenever i get a new copy

The only create a club I’ve done this year was a one of my favorite careers in recent years I created my school team and put them in the mls and only used youth academy players and only allowed them to play for 4 years before being sold.

Another suggestion you could do is make a storyline based on a brand. When the CEO of a brand wants to invest and sponsor a football team of their own, kind of like Red Bull did with their teams. I used the brand OVO and based the team out of London Soho. Started as a half star team in league 2 and am currently Championship after two straight promotions on Ultimate level!

I have just used AI to create a club in Spain based in Ourense, and based their entire transfer policy on what AI suggested, scout in Spain and Portugal, swap between South American nations with the third scout. Also implementing rules such as 1 signing and 2 sales per season +1 if I win a trophy. Plus, rules such as don’t spend more than £20m on a player ever and the laliga rule that only 5 players in match day squad can be non-eu passport holders (3 in starting xi) create a story and it is fun to be fair

Also... Next time you play as the Legion. Change their kits to Black and Gold. Those are their colors. With black being the main color. And also if you can create a third kit make it all red. They've used all red alternates before. :)

I'm probably the only person who enjoys create a club lmao. Some things that i did: - New York Cosmos (Pelé's former club). Managed to win the 2026 USA World Cup with the United States, mostly with youth academy players. - Palermo (last year when they were not in the game). Bringing back the glory days with the likes of Dybala and Cavani. - Sheffield FC, the oldest football club in the world (from England ofc). - Dynamo Berlin, the most succesful and also most hated club of the former DDR. Officialy Dynamo would be the only German club with 3 stars apart from Bayern. Used only players from countries that used to be part of the Soviet Union. Deportivo La Coruna, as mentioned. Bring them back to their glory days from the 2000s Pro Vercelli, the Italian club with 7 league titles. Mostly from the 1910s. Back then they only used Italian players. Try to do that. You just have to set some rules for yourself to make it a bit more challenging. If you find the right club, it will be even bettet then normal career mode. I wouldn't like to go back to that.

I actually play create a club hours on end and after a lot of trial and error I’ve finally got the perfect save. Club is based on a Catalan city called Reus because I love FC Barcelona and wanted to create a neighbouring Catalan club. I don’t sign players more than 85 rated and I only have 1 player above 90 rated. This makes the matches much more even and competitive (using sliders btw). This is my 10th season at the club and won 4 laligas. Never won the UCL though although reached the finals once and semis twice. I purposefully handicapped my team by playing lower rated players in my 11 i. UCL knockout games because I think it’s pretty unrealistic for a new club to win the UCL in just 7 seasons. It sucks that there’s not enough kit, badge and stadium customisation which really annoys me. Edit: I still play Fifa 23 on PS4. Did not bother buying FC24 because there isn’t much improvements at all to career mode and I only play career mode.

I’m doing a MNST (Monster) Halle career mode atm to rival RB Leipzig starting from Liga 3 and it’s pretty fun so far, almost went invincible first season with my 1&1/2 star team😩Made kits based of the different ultra cans and they look FIYAH. Splashing the cash in my second season with that Monster money🤑

I had a really good idea of starting in 3.Liga Germany and creating the team that RedBull bought and replaced. SV Markstadt or something like that? Anyways they are still a real team so it’s like a revenge thing. Germany is best for create a club because they don’t have a league mandated number/name font like the EPL, LL and French L1, etc…

create a club is such a fun mode, but it heavily relies on your creativity since it lacks a lot of customization and is very repetitive, and for a guy like me who plays on the PS5, modding is not an option. But I still have a lot of fun creating these stories with different clubs and creating club legends.

Genuinely the only issues are how bad the badges and kits are. Black Ops 1s emblem editor from 2010 has a better badge designer than EAFC 24 from 2024

I dont play create a club because I dont like it, I dont play it, because I dont like career mode in modern fifa games. I loved it though, till like Fifa 21 I played it every now and then. But since some years I just dont see any improvements to keep me captivating.

@@potatopoison1130 I'll create a whole new world to play in where fricking Messi is playing at like Atlanta United. Haaland is at Leicester City. Mbappe plays for a Japanese or Korean team. Benzema is playing in Australia. Just the best players spread out everywhere. And I have all these teams play from around the world in a final International Champions League. In fact... Myself and a friend of mine from the U.K. are ACTUALLY doing that through a Discord server using FIFA 23. Ha ha ha.

This goes further than just create a club but League Two being the lowest level in England is just so disappointing. Only being able to put a local club in the fourth tier of football just misses out so much narrative. That's before you even get into the lack of customisation, poor gameplay etc.

Is the worst edit mode ever! but, at least, i can create my own AS Roma with the right kits... the crest is a little bit shitty but had the right form. as a Roma and Serie A fan I think the possibility to edit name, kits and crest of the non-licensed teams by default it would be an appreciate news! I would even buy the game on day one and not on sale for 20 $
