Hi excellent tutorial which I must confess. But the question is how could I make the connection that will change the with the change of column x-section? Please let me know or share a link if possible.
Cant be done in the current release. The new custom connection remains "dumb" in that its not parametrically driven. You would need to create a new connection for every section to be used. You can easily to this be "breaking" the initial connection and using it as the starting point for creating a new one. He could have called this connection [JH Baseplate 250X250] the create a new copy for every other section required.
