Genial modeling! I've been fighting with FreeCAD in order to model kind of "organic" shapes. You're an inspiration. Thanks for the video. You've got a new subscriber.
I do not want to be unduly critical of your work, but it assumes, that the profile of the body you are trying to create has circular section right there where you randomly draw the "section lines". They do not look like a section lines at first, but the way you proceed it is clear, that those are the actual section lines. Which is wrong, because you have drawn these lines just randomly....in another way to say it, if you draw a different set of those initial section lines at different locations at different angle, you will get a part, which is different from the one you constructed here.....Maybe similar, but definitely different.
Hello Jiri! If the results don't match, go back and change the angle, the position of those lines a little bit, close the sketch the check the result. Keep doing that until you get the good result. Of course, it's impossible to 100% exactly like the image, but you can make it close.
Dear DuyQuang, I follow this nice vidio again, at time 15.56 I want to add a new control point to the line, but I can not do it. You click the line and hit "I" to insert point, is it right? It dosenot work for me. I saw in these blender tutorial, people add pressed-mouse-button sign and pressed-key in the conner of the vidio. Could you also do that? Thanks a lot!
Hi, Make sure before you hit "I" you should be in the edit mod of the freehand bspline (double click on the freehand bspline in the treeview). If not, it won't work
