In part one, we showed you how to create layers from the SVG and cut them out. Now, we will take the cardstock and assemble it to make the sneaker centerpiece.
To start, take the cardstock pieces that you have cut out and begin assembling them. Use adhesive of your choice to attach the pieces together, following the layering .
Once you have assembled the main body of the sneaker, it's time to add the details.
Now, it's time to add the laces. Cut a long piece of ribbon or string and weave it through the holes in the sneaker, tying a knot at the end to secure it in place. You can tie the laces in a bow or leave them hanging loose for a more casual look.
Finally, it's time to add some height to your sneaker centerpiece. If you want to add height to your centerpiece, you can follow our tutorial on how to make a custom shoe box. This sneaker box will raise up the sneaker centerpiece and make it more visible on the table.
