It's a good tool for anyone who wants to use the other presenters but if you wanted to create your own presenter, it would be alot better recording a real and natural video to present a message.
Yes, I agree with you. But if the end goal is to subtract yourself from the shooting equation, this is a promising technology. It's not completely there yet, though.
@@TeamRonDi Hey guys, I'm an actor and wondering...if I were to use this tool for my personal informational RU-vid videos, would that mean I am giving away all my rights for the platform to use and sell my image and likeness forever? Have either of you gotten a chance to look into the terms? I can see how useful thus would be for me, especially not needing to have different hairstyles and wardrobe but I mean, there is a reason actors are on strike. This may not be a wise idea. I would truly appreciate any insight you can provide. Thanks:)

On the website of D-ID, it mentions that with the free subscription, a watermark across the full video is present. So that makes it fun to play with but not usable for anything serious.
Hi Ronny, Tutorial is fantastic as usual and you always make me learn new topics. Talking about the Tool, to be honest I didn't like none of the result: 1) The first one had a very strange accent and that "belooow" was awful ! 2) Loving the intro of the original Diana, the same sentence said by the AI Presenter was more than awful :)) 3) In The third experiment, the AI Ronny Presenter was so strange, it didn't sound like you even with your voice, and looked so strange ! So, thumbs up for a real video recorded in a traditional way ! That's my personal opinion, obviously Anyway Canva is showing a real desire to push itself every day ! Thank you!
Haha, I agree with you Luca, none of these avatars even come close to what we would consider for creating content. But the mere fact that they exist is interesting. That’s what I wanted to show in this video. I’m curious to see what they will look like in a few years 🤔

I've used the D-ID integration in Canva and successfully created a presenter video, however, when I tried uploading it to Instagram it would not accept it. Possibly because the video once downloaded was watermarked throughout.
Excellent video, got me really excited about using AI Avatar. BUT. Not available on any of my mobile devices, even though it says available on all devices. 😏. Sorry. (Don't have a laptop/desktop)
This might be a desktop only feature. Or maybe it's not yet available in your country. If I were you, I'd contact Canva via their Help Center to find out.
Some of these generations seemed to use up more than 1 credit. Plus the least expensive subscription for $5.99 does not give you commercial usage. You have to upgrade to the plan for $49/mo to get any decent usage out of this.
Great tutorial! When you share your presentation that contains an AI presenter with others, I assume that feature only works if you share the presentation as a website (e.g. as a Canva website)? If you shared it as a PDF download, the AI presenter feature wouldn't play, right?
@@feboulaich I learned directly from Canva support that this function is only available if you have Canva in the English language. And you can find this function in applications. Vladi
Great video. A few weeks ago I went and created a D ID avatar in cnva via the plugin and I'm noticing now it doesn't give you the option to upload your own presenter/avatar. Is anyone else noticing this ? Maybe it's just my Canva?
They should work ... 🤔 Unless they are not yet available in your country ... I know it depends on from country to country. Have you tried contacting Canva about that issue?

hello ! It's fantastic but I'm very disappointed . As I asked you in the other video about this new application , no, still nothing. Even with the special button of the application who connect us directly to Canva. So I did send a message to Canva and I'm waiting for their answer, May be it's because of my geographic location. I'm French but I'm living in Greece .
@@TeamRonDi Thank You . I received the answer from the Support Section. They said the same. And Yes , this is the point. Because the application is new , it is only in english. So when I change the language of my Canva profile from french to english , I did found it. It's ok ! It's wonderful ! Hope that everybody who has this issue see the answer on this comment.
I agree, the cost of D-ID is too steep at the moment. Let's hope they come with a more reasonable offer, maybe something unlimited. Then it will be worth paying for it.
Why??? Now you went crazy about the type of voices...jesssssusss why? You need to say, there are different type of voices, and then just pick one and move on due???? This is painful.

I believe they recently added the watermark for free users. It wasn’t there when I shot this video. There’s no other way to remove it than to upgrade to a paid plan 😭
This feature is pretty cool, I was surprised at how many languages with different accents for each there were. It is quite extensive. I still think the avatars look pretty artificial when talking but then again maybe it's because I already knew it wasn't real.
