I’m also surprised this game has more body to the customization than the main game. We need custom rims.. its probably not even that hard to just make 5-10 designs and add some color options
I might be shit at creativity… but thank you devs for allowing me to actively be shit at being artistic and not forcing presets on everyone. Freedom of design is always best.
Pretty simple: Lack of time, 2022 was a rushed and incomplete game. 2023 was the completed base game that was what the devs wanted to envision. 2024, from the looks of it improves A LOT and adds a lot of depth. I really hope they also add a lot of longevity and less repeatability. This is still more faster development than codemasters ever since EA took over
@@Seafury18 time will tell if F1M25 continues the upwards trend or if it does what 23 did and solidify this years additions, but either way this is exactly the quality you'd expect from a triple A company like EA, shameful their games are such a mess
@@vveee_ sadly, 2025 could be the last iteration of frontier's F1 Manager, sales of the game is lower then expected, their stock value is decreasing and now they are having a lot of layoffs and their license ends in 2025. Hopefully F1 Manager 2025 is the F1 2013 of the Codemasters' game, as a last hurra.
Gotta love Ben wanting 2 different helmets for the drivers while the footage shows off they both have different helmets lol Though it would be nice if we could customise both as opposed to just the one
From the looks of it, seems like all drivers would be running the "no sponsor" version of their real helmet when they're not in their original team? If that's the case it's already pretty good for me.
I fucking hope Frontier get the main F1 game license one day. The stuff they're allowed to do that we've been asking for from Codemasters is crazy! It shows it's not solely down to FOM not allowing stuff and just the devs being lazy
@@fkez0510 This game is literally close enough to a regular full driving game. Only thing missing is handling physics They should give it a go at least
@@fkez0510 I was just going to say the same. Frontiers biggest skillset is in management and simulation games. They've released some great games already. Codemasters skillset has mainly been in driving games over the years. Makes perfect sense that Frontier are doing this Manager series while Codies are doing the F1 racing simulation games.
One thing I want is a longer fight from the ai I love had a feel nail biting title fight but most become dominant after the second half of the season which ig is realistic but the ones when the ai give you a real fight is the most fun
So excited to play this game i cant wait, the changes look pretty cool and having ur own team is amazing. Little concerned about the new morale system when it comes to facility's because in the previous games i never really upgraded certain things past like lvl 3 so hopefully thats enough because that stuff takes so much money to upgrade
I love the manager videos, but we know you well enough Ben. Just teasing us with another series that will go in the bin or go 6 months in between uploads, unfortunately.
Gran Turismo 4 had a system on the PS2 where you could race or simulated the race, even mid-game.. i think the ultimate F1 game would use that as a blend of real race and manager system like this so you can hop in and out as desired
I have a question. Is the create a team for the Standard Edition aswell??* Sorry for the dumb question, just wanting to find out before I purchase the game
-Own engine. -Custom helmet for both drivers with sponsors. -Custom staff overalls with sponsors. -Custom garage, pit wall and team HQ. -Customisation of car part visuals. -Design philosophies for staff, which opens up different car design trees, visuals and performance. Harmonising staff philosophy will be key to a top car. -Custom calendar. -Engine development. -Changes to tyre performance each season based on in-game voting. -Import drivers, logos, tracks -Add AI teams to the grid. -Full in-game editor, include driver and team stats. -Create-a-track. -
i understand games are working progress but for us to kinda wait until we got a basic came that should be like this from day one we should at least get a discount or some virtual thing in the game as continuous supporters
They need to add a few things though, 1. They need to make it so you can do multiple careers at once, 2. They need to let us do single races (not mandatory) 3. Let us customize the racing calender, 4. They need to let us develop chassis, engine (durability could be in engine development like aero same with chassis it could be inside the development of it) 5. Allow for us to make our own engine supplying allowing other teams to buy engines from us and for us to try and compete with other engine suppliers like mercedes, honda, ferrari, renault. 6. Introduce the regulations physically make a difference right now the cars look the same after the regulation changed but they could make the aero changes visually make a change. If they did all of that this would truly be a 11/10 game because this already looks promising. And also another thing they could do but not needed is they could make classic races or scenarios of past events like the 2012 championship or 2021 championship etc
Okay, I'll ask, why doesn't Honda RBPT have the best reliability? That engine has been near bulletproof since redbull even started making their own engines
A small thing they should absolutely add. A choice between the real-life steering wheels for the MyTeam mode, instead of this auto-generated manager wheel. Like give us the option to choose a Mercedes steering wheel, or a RedBull steering wheel!
Looks like a very interesting game! Of course if this was realistic the entire game would be spent trying to convince all the existing teams and FOM to let you compete in Formula 1 only to be told that they would rather have an extra few million quid in their pockets so sorry you can't race.
I can’t imagine how annoying those bots must be. Why does RU-vid keep letting them spam comment sections? I’ve seen them on many many different RU-vidrs now and it’s usually large RU-vidrs (with 1M subs or more)
Hi Ben, just a friendly little suggestion. MAKE THE M CENTRAL ITS SOOOOO ANNOYING FOR ME and probably others with OCD. From one of your fans, thank you
