I don't think HTML videos alone are very interesting, but CSS is a different story -- I think CSS videos are the most interesting to be honest. People really undervalue CSS and I think it's a shame, because a LOT of folks really just don't understand it very well, and feel like it's totally fine to just skip over learning about.
Yeah I'm loving this css series. Learning more from these videos showing practical application than on my own or even in many courses. Please keep them coming!
The majority of your audience is probably students and junior developers, so not a surprise on the survey. For me as a senior full stack software engineer I LOVE your short videos on CSS stuff. I never EVER have the time to sit down and spend hours thinking about how I’d, say, create a fancy CSS loader. I’m watching videos like this or going on codepen and stealing and tweaking. Also worth mentioning that the largest group was react … which inevitably needs CSS too 🥹
I enjoy your CCS videos. I normally try and play around by combining other videos altogether. In this video, I added an image of a character that will spin using the mouse hover effect. I am trying to find if there is a way to play an MP3 file when the mouse hovers over the image or circle. I know you should use java script but would like to know if this could be done by just using CSS?
Just an idea, but what if you do a code along for things people can add to their portfolio. Maybe pick a topic and start a repo and get people to collaborate on the repo with your selected mods deciding on what to and not to add. Probably would be a nightmare considering how any students you got xD but it's a fun idea none the less and could help your students possibly land jobs by building up their github profile.
